The Koetshuis B&B is beautifully situated in front of the bridge to Ammersoyen Castle. Surrounded by a small park and meadows. I arrived at night and I thought I was teleported to the past. The whole experience gave me a unique sensation of being close to history. Also the B&B interior has this uniqueness due to the old masonry, dark thick beams and wooden panels everywhere. You think you sleep inside a castle tower. In the morning you look at at beautiful meadows through the little windows. My late night (self-)checkin with a friendly host went smoothly and in the morning I was greeted by another cheerful host and a perfect breakfast (buffet).

Although the location, the room and the whole experience exceeded my expectations at night there were sounds & noises. One from the (in room) shower ventilator which doesn't turn off after 10 minutes and other noises coming from an/unknown source or installation above the room. I was tired and fell asleep quickly but I can imagine if you have a little trouble sleeping that it could be distracting.

The warm welcome was just as we expected from the clear communication we’d received prior to our arrival and the complimentary drink on the terrace was a nice touch too. We had a fabulous room, De Woelmont which was spacious, immaculately clean with the decor in keeping and adding to the atmosphere. In the morning there was a traditional Dutch breakfast, and we just wished we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Nothing - our stay was just as we had hoped.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, with the view of the castle. When I was there I was the only guest, so I had the whole property to myself. The courtyard looked beautiful during the night with all the lights. The room was nicely decorated and the breakfast was really tasty! I could wholehearteadly recommed this unique acommodation!

I arrived after a long ferry journey, I notified to the hotel prior to travelling that I'd be arriving outside of their usual check in hours. My email was replied to very quickly and reassured this wouldn't be a problem and to just call when 15 mins away. When I arrived a very friendly gentleman was waiting for me, he showed me to the coach house and showed me to my room/bathroom, along with the small honesty bar in the dining area. He also assisted me with where to go for something to eat as it was getting late then. We agreed a time for breakfast, and when I came down the following morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find I was given an individual pot of fruit, selection of freshly baked breads, selection of preserves and boiled egg and this was on top of the yoghurt/meat and cheese selection on the side and teas and coffees - it felt like I rolled out of breakfast!! The room was beautiful and bed SO comfy. The bathroom was separate from the room I was in, but this didn't matter. Towels and robes were provided. Lovely Rituals toiletries also provided - have since bought some as they smelt so good! The whole place was immaculately clean and cannot fault anything. I have recommended the hotel to whoever I've told about my stay! :o)

Very well appointed room, beautiful bathroom with two shower heads. Stunning surroundings, next to castle Ammerzoden. After day tourists have left, it is very quiet and private in the evening. We only saw one of the hosts. He was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know. We cannot comment on the breakfast, as we had to leave before 8.00 am.

The castle is very near to our friends house. It was a quick walk. Peaceful surroundings in an historic building. Friendly staff.

Bathroom was outside the room. Too many keys and locks, etc. Bar closes at 5. Food? Before that.

Fantastic views of the historic Castle and in a great location for our cycling break. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good WiFi, nice breakfast and storage space inside for our bikes.

The castle on the doorstep. we enjoyed our visit (12 euro). breakfast was simple but wonderful. the b&b grounds outside in the evening. The room was perfect, and a thank you for the host for the free upgrade, it was much appreciated in the hot weather. It was nice to have a room without a tv too! A short walk to the local grocery store.

Very good room, had a peaceful night of sleep. We loved the hospility and the history of the place. We also visited the castle, loved it. The breakfast that is included was lovely. They had soap, shampoo & showergel from Rituals, love that smell!

We could hear the neighbours and ourselves downstairs in de breakfastroom. It was not a big issue for us.

Great location. We stayed only for one night and it was excellent. Good breakfast. It was raining all day and we got an umbrella to take with us that saved our day.
