This place was gorgeous! We booked the room with a small balcony - didn't realize there was a car park that you could see overlooking the balcony, before the oceanview, but that's not a make-or-break thing. Castellammare was definitely more a functioning city versus a tourist location, which was endearing. There were still tonnes of restaurants, and a lovely long walkway along the ocean. I liked that we weren't inundated with other tourists. The hotel itself is small enough that you wouldn't feel crowded. We watched the sunset every night from the shared balcony/pool area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with booking us taxis to Pompeii, and to the airport, etc. It's overwhelming to sit and watch the sunset on this gorgeous balcony, while having Mt. Vesuvius right there as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a first-class hotel off the beaten track of the busy tourist areas.

There is no access to the beach from the hotel. You have to walk toward the town centre. It would be nice to have an access staircase or something just outside of the hotel to get to the ocean water. It's not an amazing location for swimming or hanging out on the beach, but it'd still be beneficial to have that access (there is better swimming access a five-minute walk toward the centre of town, where there is a public beach - you can rent umbrellas and chairs, etc).

La Chiaia Art & Relais is a place that truly takes your breath away. From the very first moment, the lush green terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples feels like stepping into a dream. Breakfast is an absolute highlight: generous, varied, carefully prepared, and enjoyed with one of the most stunning views you could imagine. Every morning feels like a special moment. The pool area, with its comfortable loungers, is another corner of paradise where you can relax completely. But what makes La Chiaia unforgettable is the hospitality. The girls who run it are incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming—they make you feel less like a guest and more like part of the family, always with a smile and genuine care. La Chiaia Art & Relais is much more than just a B&B. It’s an experience of beauty, comfort, and warmth, a little paradise on the Gulf of Naples that you will carry in your heart long after you leave.

Our room (Il Mare) was amazing and felt like being at home. The bed was extremely comfortable and the other facilities were great. The outdoor space was exceptional and we were able to relax and refresh having moved around Italy. The view of Naples bay was beautiful - even better than the pictures show. The art work around the hotel was great and really added to our experience. Above all the service was fantastic and as good as I have experienced anywhere else. Everyone worked extremely hard to make sure our stay was perfect and we were so grateful to them. We will definitely visit again. Castellammare di Stabia is a very short walk away and there are plenty of good places to eat and some bars. We had some great recommendations from the hotel staff.

What a gem. We arrived late, after normal check in time, and the owner had waited for us (with us cool little dog) to welcome us. Even with the kitchen closed he opens a bottle for us to share a glass of whine and some snacks. Such hospitality. The rooms and entire hotel is wonderfully designed and decorated, making the most of the great view with the dining and entertainment deck area. The pictures do not lie. The beds were super comfortable (best sleep in a long time!) and rooms super clean.

I mentioned check in time, which is probably set a bit early (8.30pm) and the after hours check in (without the help received) might have been a bit stressful (the door code system is a bit temperamental and finding the parking at night is not super easy - not helped by the fact that it was raining). For the location, it is ideal within the region but the township itself is not beautiful (like many places nearby). For us it was a perfect stop over on our way to the Amalfi coast. And as mentioned the design of the hotel makes the transition from outside to inside that much more surprising - making the most of what there is. Bravo!

Top service by reception. Very helpful for making reservations or looking up information. Very qualitative and modern interior. Fantastic terrasse with sea view and small pool. Fee private parking at 50m of B&B At walking distance of supermarket, nice restaurants and ferry to Capri.

My daughter left a clothing piece at the pool side. The (cleaning) personnel took it away. Due to very limited nr of guests that day it should not have been difficult to return it to us or know who it belonged to. Only after specific request by her it was searched for and found back in the cleaning closet.

Spacious well laid out rooms, super king size and very comfortable bed. Wonderful to go to sleep with the sound of the waves on the shore - we loved sitting on the terrace in the evening watching the views. The staff team are fantastic - really helpful with restaurant and taxi reservations and anything else we needed - so rare to go to a hotel where every member of the team is kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

This placed we booked was a amazing, location for it was ideal and very easy access to Pompei, Rome, Almafi Coast, Capri so very good to be able top travel to these places with ease using our hire car, the location has car park secure parking, the accommodation itself is very modern and looks brand new, cleanliness was off the charts and always maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was a typical Italian style (Continental savoury and sweet), there was also after drinks that were able to be purchased when ever you needed them, the staff were very attentive to your needs and communicate by talking or via WhatsApp anything that you require. Emilia, Mariarosaria , and Alessandra were are so so helpful, if there was anything you needed they were on hand to help out in any way they could, parking at tourist hotspots, recommendations of dining in the evenings and all with a pleasant manner and lovely smile. There is really nothing wrong with this property and i would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have some chill and relaxing time staying here.

A beautiful spot in Castellammare, with the best staff and amazing views over the Sorrento coast and the bay of Naples. Everything was great. La Chiaja staff got in touch a few days in advance to make sure that our arrival is smooth, recommended and booked restaurants. And got us last minute tickets to Vesuvius, So huge thanks to Mariarosaria, Alessandra and Emilia for taking such a good care of us. The hotel is very comfortable and super clean, with great views from the terrace. We also appreciated the secure parking nearby. La Chiaja is a perfect base for exploring Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento coast and Amalfi coast.

The stay was super comfortable in all ways. The staff made us feel welcomed, provided all needed information and took care of us during the stay. Room with a sea view itself is very comfortable - good size, soft bed, beautifully air-conditioned and amazing sound and view of the sea. Breakfast in the hotel was superb, as well. The location was also great for us - we had trips to Capri and Vesuvio that had pick up from Castellamare. Also, must visit restaurant for seafood - Lungomare. Quiet relaxed area, only a few minutes walk from plenty of bars & restaurants. Absolutely amazing terrace area and even though it’s shared there are only 5 rooms in the hotel so it’s never busy as there are loads of different areas to sit & relax, never seen anything like it, exceptional thought has gone into this . A haven of peace & tranquility. Views of Vesuvius. Staff were exceptional - Alex, Emilia, Maria Rosaria. Junior suite with private balcony and sea views was excellent.
