The hotel and the room were decorated really well. There were a lot of art pieces put in the right places. I especially liked wooden furniture and other wooden room elements. They even had a pillow bar at the corridor. The room had a fridge. The hotel had good facilities, there is a bar/restaurant in a hotel or you can buy beer and other drinks from the vending machine. On the same floor as our room there is a shelf with books in different languages too. The room had enough power sockets and enough shelfs and hanging knobs.

When checking in, staff did not mention that the fridge in the room is turned off by default, and you need to contact staff to turn it on. In the room at the fridge there was no such information too. The bathroom was too narrow. For example, to wash your face at the sink, I had to bow sideways if I wanted not to bump on the mirror shelf. There were smart TV in the room, but smart functions not accessible (part of tv functions disabled), so not possible to watch youtube on TV.

The location was great, everything was in a walkable distance. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean.

The parking lot entrance was pretty small I was worried about my big car fitting. There wasn’t any air conditioner and it was 97 degrees Fahrenheit outside so the room was stifling and uncomfortable to sleep even with an overhead fan but I need it to be cooler when I sleep (at least 72 degrees)

This hotel is truly delightful; cozy, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff are exceptionally cordial and accommodating. I would certainly plan to book this hotel again whenever I return to Amberg.

location was perfect. just 300 meters from the train station breakfast was great to include the times. love the variety room is eclectic. love the art and the drink options
