The location of the inn was excellent, it is on the main road and close to all bars and stores. It was easy to get the key, no hassle to communicate with the staff since they have a door ring button out the Inn you can just press. The Inn is obviously old but they did do an effort to renovate/face lift the place. They have clean towels and provide shampoo, shower gel and lotion.

I didn't like that while they renovated the inn, the smell of old and moldy place is still there.

The Meaford Inn is a basic motel in the middle of town, within walking distance to downtown, the harbour, and the spectacular views of Georgian Bay. The staff and pets were friendly, and the renovated room was modernized and very clean. The beds were comfortable.. The motel was quiet at night considering it's attached to a pub and in the center of town. I will definitely stay at the Meaford Inn again when I come to town.

The only suggestion I can make is to locate the coffee maker near an outlet for convenience or have an extension cord. It took a while to figure out where to plug it in, and the mornings are not the time to do that when you need a coffee to start your day.

It was a great location to the downtown Meaford area. Easy walking distance to the harbour and the restaurants, shops and library. Tilleys down the street is so convenient for breakfast. Thornbury is also a short drive away.

It would be nice to have a few hooks in the bathroom to hang your housecoat or even towels. The one set of hooks over the toilet was placed too high. It would be nice to have a raised toilet seat for senior travelers and I really think every bathtub should have grab bars. It would also have been nice to have a comfortable chair to sit on inside the room, The chairs outside on the balcony were a little tired and mismatched. It would improve the overall look of the motel if they purchased matching chairs. I really like this little motel and the owners. They are always so busy making improvements and very accommodating when I asked for a kettle, hairdryer and extra towels. Lovely people.

The location was in the center of everything. The beds were comfortable. Their pet mascot cat named Julian was adorable. The room was spacious enough. The owner was kind. The drive up was convenient. It was quiet there.

The flying ants somehow getting in to the bathroom and laying on the sink.

I like everything, I come from toronto that very busy, and I wanted some quiet from that ,I really love the town and all the people were very nice. and all the people i saw outside have dog, i really love that too. and i go camping up there a lot.

No breakfast included fridge and tea, coffee and cups included. This is the 2nd time we have stayed this month at this property and have no complaints. Fast and easy check in have stayed in king room and two queen bed room, both are comfortable and clean.

There is no breakfast at this location. I did not try the restaurant next to the motel. I liked the location, close to the water - easy walking distance. My stay was from Monday to Friday and I encountered no noisiness.

The room was very clean, everything has been recently renovated, the beds were very comfortable, and the owner, Valentina, is lovely. The Red Door pub is on premises, excellent service and great food.

The check-in was fast, efficient and the room very clean and smelling good. Many options around the motel for getting something to eat. A park on Georgian Bay shore was also very closed, around 250 m from the motel.

The Meaford Inn was wonderful from the moment we arrived with a warm greeting by the owner and his dog Daisy. The owner helped carry our luggage to our newly renovated room on the second floor and asked several times if we needed anything. We were staying three nights for Meafords Csnada Day celebrations at the harbour. The inn was situated perfectly for walking around town. We didn't use our car all weekend. The Red Door Pub attached to the inn was amazing. The food was exceptional. The selection of local craft beers was appreciiated. They had a variety of activities taking place over the weekend. Live entertainment on the patio, taro readings and trivia night. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a positive experience.
