The rooms are great - spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay/marina. Everything in the room that you need, including full ice trays in the freezer, and the wifi worked well. Very pretty, short walk into downtown Thornbury, along the Beaver River (Corner Bar / Mill); Port resto is right next door which is overpriced but a nice, cozy spot for a drink (and maybe food but we didn't try - again, overpriced, we preferred the aforementioned spots in town). The salt water pool is nice (easy on the eyes) and the hot tub is great - homestyle job, good temp and nice jets.

The fitness room is dated and machines old but still managed to get in a decent, half workout.

Fantastic location with the beach and harbour on the doorstep. Spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the lake available for everyone to use. Enormous apartment with well equipped kitchen. Very helpful reception staff. Cafe's, restaurant and brewery /bar all within easy walk. Safe parking on site. Supermarket close by. Lovely views across the lake. The receptionist was very kind when we arrived and had a problem to sort out.

The building fabric was pretty tired looking and needs a good refurb. Windows need cleaning! The terrace could be so much better with a little TLC. But this wouldn't stop us going there again.

right across the road from the lake and marina. Very quiet room, clean and very large. Wasn't expecting such a large suite. Booked on booking.com and it was very inexpensive. Not sure what the rate is during summer as we were there end of September. It's a great place to stay

The area where the bed is (suite #12) had 3 windows. They had roller shades but they don't keep out the light and they have an outside light on that side of the resort. We found it harder to sleep with the light coming in. This was the only thing we didn't like about the suite

Great location. Room was a good size and equipped with all essentials Staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful.

While the room had undergone some upgrades the building is a bit dated and it definitely showed in some places (pulling the shower curtain across the rod was harder than it should’ve been due to cracking of the outer plastic), shower head was old and kinda grungy (though everything else felt quite clean). These things weren’t deal breakers and we did enjoy our stay. Bed was comfortable though 1 pillow was pretty lumpy.

They have all the kitchenware you could have, feels like home and cooked our dinner and breakfast with ease. Enjoyed the spacious suite with huge living room, two bathrooms, front and back to leave the suite and excellent view. Clean environment. Also a small TV in one of the bedroom!

The only setback there is providing oven without aluminum foil.

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The location and view is spectacular overlooking the harbour and Georgian Bay. Pool and hot tub were appreciated, and the rooms themselves are like small studio apartments, roomy and comfortable and clean.

Nothing really…maybe the furniture and decor is a bit dated and tired…but extremely clean and well kept,

Well I’m not being picky, okay yes I am, our room could use a tad bit of maintenance. The floor lamp didn’t work and there was a broken light bulb laying in it and the door handle on the patio door was broken which made opening it difficult other than that everything available to us for use was exceptional.

Good value, great location, walking distance to Thornsbury's downtown so to speak with restaurants and bars and a full kitchen in which you can make your own breakfasts, should you wish to lounge. Recommended to bring your own coffer and other supplies, kitchens are equipped but modestly. If you insist on 5-star and modern, you will not be satisfied. The units are large and very functional but a bit outdated in terms of decorating. Staff was great as were the pool and hot tubs. We will return, with better understanding of how we can better utilize the facilities.

It lost marks because it did not have any coffee to supply guests for the coffee makers on-site. It meants Timmie's for us the first morning until we bought our own supplies. The resorts says it usually does have coffee supplies, however, I recommend bringing your own, regardless. Coffee makers are the older types with paper filters.

The proximity to the water in the village was great. Is has a decent little swim spot right across the street from the resort. There is also a pier to jump into the bay. And bonus - they have a saltwater pool.

There’s a very weird loud noise in the master bedroom during the night. We don’t think it was one of the air conditioning units, as those have their own noise. It was more like a sound from the building itself, some mechanical thing. We were far away from the pool, so I’m not sure what it was. Bring ear plugs!

I clean for a living so I am extremely picky. I noticed the fan on the ceiling was dirty and i pulled the couch out from the wall to find an outlet and there was garbage behind the couch. Also not enough outlets
