Friendly staff, great location, loved that there was always groovy music playing which created a lovely ambiance. Their breakfast menu and service was fantastic. Rooftop bar was cozy. Great spot for sure, restaurants were a 7-10 min very safe walk or short Uber. I would definitely stay here again.

We had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in Polanco; it was so quiet and peaceful and we loved waking up in the morning to hear the birds chirping outside in the garden; all of the staff were so friendly and helpful; the bed was enormous and very comfortable; breakfast was fabulous and I loved that they had 'cafe de olla' every morning; we loved walking around the neighborhood, with all of the shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as all the public parks and tree-lined streets - highly recommended.

I absolutely loved everything from the minute I walked in, the building itself it’s a art, a gem in the heart of the city, than walking inside, each corner tells a beautiful story through art and design, so vibrant and unique. The bed it’s so comfortable, shower and every detail was so greatly appreciated. Top hospitality! The staff were welcoming, truly inspiring place! Don’t forget to check the rooftop for best cocktails 🤌🏼⭐️🙏

I didn’t stay for longer, started to feel so comfortable

We loved our stay at Pug Seal. Our room was gorgeous, with a huge shower, large, comfy bed and stylish decor. The hotel is in a nice quiet area, though it's easy enough to walk to some nice restaurants. The hotel itself is gorgeous, set in an old villa with lots of original artwork, but the real highlight for us was the concierge and staff, who were so friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where to eat and what to explore. Breakfast was also delicious - would definitely return to Pug Seal if we're ever in Mexico City again

I'm not sure I felt the private tour of Teotihuacan we organised through the hotel was worth the money. We paid more than $100 USD each and our driver essentially dropped us off at the pyramids, gave us a quick explanation and then told us to go on to the museum if we wanted to learn more. For that price point I was hoping for a more in-depth explanation and detailed tour of the site

I loved the smell as you walk in the building. Nice space, well decorated. Very clean. The staff is courteous and helpful. They offer complementary water, fruits, and cookies. The roof terrace/bar has a nice vibe to relax. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shopping mall. Felt safe walking around Polanco.

My room looked dark, specially in the bathroom area, because the walls are painted in dark colors and there isn't enough lighting. There is no elevator in this old building, but the staff will help you carry your luggage.

I liked the location, the attentive customer service and the no tv-no landline telephone.

The room was located above their kitchen. It was very noisy with pots and pans and cutting boards cutting every morning between 6-8AM and we were not told about that when we specifically requested a quiet room prior to arrival. It is too expensive for the quality of the rooms. There is no closet and it was tricky to place our luggage anywhere convenient.

The wonderful breakfast each morning in the lovely garden. The interesting guests we met. Being able to open the windows. Hearing the first bird of the morning chirp his hello. The little nooks throughout the hotel where we could relax. The wonderful decor and use of bold colors. The staff who were most friendly and accommodating. So many things good for this hotel! We want it something unique and we got it... It is a place of relax within a vibrant city is the perfect place to go after a busy day in CDMX. The art , the staff is so helpful they really are congrats to the staff they are super nice!

Maybe better lightning in the room but not that it was a problem but sometimes you need one good light to organize etc. But maybe is just me I like to have a well lit room.

This is a gem of a boutique hotel! Very well located in a calm residential area of Polanco and a 5-10 min walk to Masaryk and Polanquito. The decor is very special, the villa is full of art pieces, and overall this is a beautiful & unique place to stay. The amenities and service were very good, loved the natural soap and shower products. The breakfast was spectacular and we really enjoyed our mornings outside in the terrace. Highly recommend for people who love inventive design.

Wifi was a bit slow

The location is in Polanco which is a very nice residential area. The hotel location and hotel itself are extremely quiet. We expected it to be a bit more lively as there is a lovely rooftop deck. Karla was great and gave us good advice on transportation to certain sites.
