Very nicely remodeled, comfortable and fancy hotel. Breakfast buffet was very tasty and the staff all very friendly. There is free parking close by not affiliated with the hotel. Bathroom had a basic Japanese bidet, which was a nice touch.
Couldn't open the windows in the bathroom or the room- they had locks on it. No fans and ventilation would have been nice, especially after a shower. The hotel is a luxury hotel, but it was frustrating that they nickle and dimed you on everything. Parking- extra charge. Want to use the swimming pool? Make a reservation and pay 20 eur to spend 50 minutes in the pool. Breakfast- extra charge. The mini fridge in the room was full of beverages&food that also cost extra with no space for us to put our own drinks. If I'm paying 250-300 eur a night to stay, breakfast and the pool should be included..

This is a newly remodeled hotel. It is very beautiful and truly a 5 star hotel. They kindly upgraded us to a slightly larger room, which was very nice. The dinner at the restaurant was exceptional! There is free parking in front of the hotel and on the street. The hotel offers parking at about 15 Euro/nt, but since it is not a covered parking, the free parking next to it is just as good. The location of this hotel is high in the Pyrenees mountains where skiing is very popular. We visited this hotel in mid June and the weather was perfect. We did not know anything about Canfranc, but there are a lot of beautiful villages within a short driving distance. This area of Pyrenees is extremely picturesque and great for hiking. We were pleasantly surprised to find so much to do in this area and were mesmerized by its beauty.

This place is mega, the location is outstanding the hotel is really 5 star and the restaurant excellent, food great. Parking really easy, plenty of space. Location is beautiful and the mountains amazing, we will definitely return for more.
Nothing, however they did seem to have a computer booking issue as they were under the impression we had not paid in advance and asked us to pay the full amount. I gave them my confirmation paperwork and they sorted it out and explained their computer booking system had problems, They asked to keep my paperwork which was fine, so they could get to the bottom of this.

Beautiful refurbishment of iconic former railway station building in quiet area of town. Mountain views. Large bright comfortable rooms with large shower. Modern and clean. Attractive restaurant with good and reasonably priced food. Large choice of items for buffet breakfast.
The standard of service was disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Particular issues highlighted with recently appointed manager and will hopefully be resolved. Booking.com indicates guests can select single or double beds but the hotel then messages you to say that they might not be able to provide the selected preference. Why not?? The breakfast is spoilt by the insistence on having to be served the hot offer which is then too small. Either allow guests to help themselves or serve larger portions. And the parking, pool etc are extras making the price less good value

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The staff was amazing, kind and helpful. Room was spacious and had a beautiful Mountain View. We wanted to make a highlight regarding the cocktail bar which was hosted by a highly qualified award winning mixologist Valentina. Seriously, don’t miss going there and trying out Rey Salomon. It’s close to Candanchu ski resort too, just 5-10 mins away… so that’s another plus
We really don’t have much to add here. The breakfast was great but I would have love to have a few more variety in the buffet section. Again, this is not even a complaint, just a suggestion. The hotel gets 10 star rating from us.

The hotel is wonderful, it is a true 5star hotel, with all the attention, care and comfort that one should have. If we have to highlight one very positive point, it is definitely the food. The quality and flavor are unquestionable. In addition to the breakfast and tapas that we ate at the hotel, we also booked the Christmas dinner, and everything was very good. We will definitely be back.
Upon arrival, we were also unpleasantly welcomed by the staff who greeted us at the car. It was raining heavily and the curb is at the same height as the street, so we parked a little higher up. He ordered us to move it in a very unpleasant words. It took away the charm of our arrival. He was right about the way we parked, but he could have said it differently. Also, It was the first time we paid for hotel parking that wasn't covered. To be honest, I don't see the need to pay for parking, considering that depending on the time of year you go, you can find good places to park near the hotel with no cost.

We have visited the station a couple of times both pre and during its redevelopment. It is a stunning building and it has been refurbished to a high standard. The fixtures and fittings are simply superb. Shower tiles, windows, doors and other installations are amazingly well fitted and top quality.

In pouring rain we received a warm welcome, were given an upgraded room and were overawed with the hotel and it's location. Our room was spacious with every comfort and the bathroom a delight. The bar and restaurant were exceptional with very attentive service. Dinner was superb with unusual, very tasty and generous portions and not overpriced. Breakfast was amazing with, just about, anything you wanted to eat and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The staff could not have been more helpful with finding alternative routes over, or round, the Pyrenees as the Somport Tunnel was closed.

The location and interior of the hotel lived up to all expectation - stunning. Very nice room, lovely cocktail bar with amazing cocktail waitress! We ate in the international restaurant as that was the only one open during our brief stay - good and interesting food. Wish there had been more info from the Barcelo Group about the history of the hotel, which is so fascinating. We were told this might be coming soon through their app. Staff very helpful.
The choice of menu in the international restaurant would have been a bit limited if we had wanted to eat there more than once. The specials list could have been a bit clearer as regards whether the items were starters or mains. But these are only minor issues as overall everything was great.
