The location is great, and the chill zone on the terrace is a really nice touch. We also appreciated the bar and the option to order drinks. The staff was extremely nice!

The only downside was the breakfast it was quite basic, with limited healthy options. There weren’t many vegetables aside from tomatoes, and there were no oats, yogurts, or other lighter choices, mostly just sweets, eggs and ham. Overall, the restaurant experience wasn't the best.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the mountains. Amazing scenery from the bedroom window. Unusual rustic decor throughout which fitted with the environment. Very good breakfasts. The breakfast staff worked hard to ensure it was always replenished. Miki on reception was always friendly and very helpful assisting us with information on hiking routes.

They could do with more breakfast staff at weekends when the hotel was full.

Overall a good hotel for its money. The staff is very friendly. The room is quite comfortable. On the plus side, it was quite quiet.

The room furnishings and furniture are already a bit outdated and in good need of updating. Internet in the room is very weak and not suitable for work. You can only work in the common area on the first floor, but to be fair, the lounge area is quite large and comfortable. Dinner was average, nothing special, it just is.

The staff were amazing! They were very friendly, helpful and hardworking! We had food in the restaurant every evening which was delicious and the menu changed everyday. It was good value for money. We went to the spa and pool which was also great! One of the other main aspects we liked was that it was close to many good trails for hiking!

Our room was near the main stairs so sometimes noise in the evening, but overall it was fine!

Clean, spacious room, the staff at the restaurant and cafe are excellent and very helpful. The restaurant and bar are good. Room service cleaning is great. Nice terrace.

Coffee at breakfast need to be improved, doesn’t taste good. To have a mirror in the room. Its 30 minutes from canfranc station , need a car or bus to go there. On Christmas day there was no bus. Pets are allowed which was noisy from next room. No trash bin in the room. But overall it was a nice comfortable stay.

Only there for one day but felt very welcome, beds could be more comfortable, but apart from that excellent. Dinner was fab, service was friendly and interested at all times. Feels like we have had a very relaxing break.

The location was perfect as a stop for me. About 6 hours from home in the Alicante region and 4 hours to my next stop near Bordeaux. The hotel is within a few miles of the Somport Tunnel. The whole area is stunningly scenic and an easy, pleasant drive. This is part of the Camino de Santiago trail too, there were lots of walkers staying in the hotel. That walk is on my list. Breakfast was good, lots of choice

There had been a number of bad storms which can not be avoided, but probably due to the damp conditions, my room was filled with flies. This was sorted with fly spray, I suggest taking some with you! No flies in the restaurant or bar area most importantly, though

Breakfast was absolutely superb. Unfortunately we paid the supplement for dinner and had a very bad steak. It looked amazing when served but it was so tough we couldn't even cut it. we spoke to the head waiter as we didn't want it served to anyone else. he was pleasant offered us another steak which we declined. but no recompensating made at all. I bagged it and fed it to our dog. BUT we have stayed here before and would do so again. the wine list is fabulous and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Comfy clean rooms and very dog friendly. easy to find and good walks

we had a poor main course at dinner but starters and desserts were very nice and the price of the meal was very reasonable even with a poor main course

Room was comfortable, easy to access with a lift. Parking was ok - lots of spaces available just over the road in a covered row and alongside the entrance too. Restaurant was excellent - amazing food and great choice from an amuse bouche to a gorgeous dessert and a great choice of wine. Reasonable price for food too.

Spa dissapointing - pool was not clean, insects floating on the surface and some grubby looking patches on the floor. Jacuzzi was ok, sauna ok, steam room also seemed a little grubby. I'd give it a miss if I were you.

Breakfast was good, the restaurant area is set up early and has everything you'd want (cold meats, fresh fruit, hot scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, bread, etc & as much coffee/tea as you wish). The walks from the hotel are, as always, spectacular. You can go for a short walk or go hiking all day. My dog and I love this hotel for the location. It's not in Canfranc itself, it's a just a bit further up the road. There are various scenic walking routes to the station but it's up hill on the way back... :-)

From a dog owner point of view, it would be nice if there was an area inside that I could sit with my dog and eat. If you have a dog you have to either leave them in the room or eat outside. The outside terrace is fabulous, so not really a problem, but on a cold night being able to sit inside would be super.
