Attractive hotel with easy access from the main road. The night we stayed there had been road closures due to storms and landslides and Pedro kindly contacted us to warn us. Our alternative route was a truly spectacular drive over the mountains! The accommodation is simple, comfortable and clean. We stayed in a cottage in the garden which was ideal for our dog and she really enjoyed a splash-about in the river below the property. The bar and cafe/restaurant were closed, but we expected that and came prepared with a picnic basket and food that could be heated in the room's microwave. Pedro dropped off fresh croissants for breakfast (coffee was supplied in the room) and he also kindly allowed us to park near our cottage because we had a lot of things in our car. All in all, the hotel was a nice stop off on our journey and the welcome was warm.

It was a shame that more facilities weren't open, but we were expecting that they might not be. It would have been nice to have had a meal in the restaurant and then enjoyed a drink from the bar in the garden, but we still had a good stay.

We were lucky enough to have one of the cabins separate from the main building, and really enjoyed our (one night) stay. We had a garden for our dog to sniff around, a comfy enough room and the bar nextdoor in case we needed anything. Good place, close to Jaca, recommended - especially a visit to the river just below the property.

No complaints

Hotel was good for an overnight stay. Plenty of parking and not too far from the town. Bed was lovely and big. Rooms could do with a little updating but as it is an old building it is understandable. You can hear the stairs creak every time someone come upstairs. I imagine it will be lovely and cosy ion the ski season.

The location is on a busy road but strangely enough very quiet on the back with a relaxing vibe listening to the river flowing at the bottom of the garden, directly outside the accommodation. Table and chairs are provided with a small bar on site. The room was clean and comfortable.

The grass was over grown in the outside seating area.

They upgraded us to one of the cottages and it was just perfect. Very quiet, idyllic location. We travelled with our pet and saw other guests doing the same. Perfect for switching off from the hustle and bustle of London.

For the cost, the hotel is just perfect. You can't expect 5 star amenities or comfort for this price.

The only minor quibble was that there was no kettle - to boil water (for tea) and the cups provided were very small. Some basic cutlery would also have been useful.

Accommodation was very nice and clean. Obviously, bits and bobs were not perfect but that was totally fine. Who cares if the tv cable is not properly attached or the drain in the shower is not going down fast enough. It is a mountain retreat with welcoming staff and pets friendly. Perfect for outdoors! Bed was very comfy! Towels, toiletries were there. Perfect :) Access to river - my dog went mental and I saw quite a few guests taking their pets up there.

Maybe access to the river could be define better. They could really make this a special thing for pets. I would not mind paid extra few euros for something like a pet pack with towel for dog and some toy to play in there... :) My dog went absolutely mental up there. He loved a swim in crystal clear river.

Hotel Charle is a very comfortable. Set in a beautiful location. Surrounded by mountains and trees. Very peaceful hearing the wind, stream and birds. It has plenty of parking. Expecting a room in the hotel. We arrived and shown to our little chalet. It had every thing in it, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, sofa and tv. Bathroom all very clean. Plenty of parking available. Evening meal and breakfast was nice. Ideal stop over for the getting to the tunnel to France. Staff helpful and friendly. Lovely 1 night stop over.

.The hotel was very nice. Stayed in a room in the grounds of the hotel. In it it had bed. Toilet and shower. Sofa bed. Fridge. Microwave. Breakfast bar. Coffee machine. Not alot of choice on the menu. Thought the food was over priced as just got meat and a few new potatoes as main course...Was a peaceful night with only the sound of the trees river and birds. Ideal for walkers or bikers. Good location as just of main high way.

Everything was really good and the owner was very helpful. We had a room which was ideal for the dog, which led straight out onto a garden area.
