Lovely setting, staff was very friendly, quiet and green environment, cost setting. Private bathtub on the terrace was amazing. Food at the restaurant was also very good.

A lot of the views are obstructed by the trees, both from the cabin as from the restaurant/pool which is a bit of a letdown. Some of the infrastructure also looks a little dated and could use some refreshing. Room was not as luxurious inside as the price would suggest.

Unusually beautiful for La Réunion! You are secluded in the green in these small cottages. Everything is in massive wood and the hotel follows an eco friendly philosophy in each and every detail! Very peaceful place!

They were running out of personnel so the service was extremely slow at some moments. Our orange juice and the tea for breakfast were served to us when we were already done with eating…But the staff apologized when we mentioned and offered two out of six breakfasts!

Location and design of the hotel

There is an ongoing construction there. First morning was woken up to the sound of it (new house was constructed only a house apart from us). Staff was really nice, they prevented the same happening on the second one, but in Réunion the only thing you get for disturbed stay is "sorry". They do not even make an attempt to somehow fix it. Sounds weird for a higher class hotel. Pool is not heated, I believe that is a standard on Réunion even at good hotels, so be aware that it is cold.

Shower gel and shampoo were mixed with water and in a very small quantity in the dispenser.
