A character B&B in the old town of Girona close to restaurants, cafes, and things to do. The train & bus station is a flat 12-15 minute walk. The decor is tasteful, a spacious bedroom, a well-equipped shared kitchen, a lounge, and a dining room. All really nicely laid out. The owner, who lives elsewhere & the two ladies who work in the B&B were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend as a great place to stay in Girona.

One minor thing, our ensuite space was tight. Luckily we are not big people, so it worked for us but it's not the same standard as the bedroom and other rooms in the B&B.Water pressure was great.

Beautiful old building with lovely Spanish tiles and construction, tastefully updated and kept very clean. Friendly hosts (Johnny, the owner, speaks 8 languages!) Kitchen available for use (we did not cook in it, but kept food in the fridge and prepared cold foods). Lovely little balcony in the room with a beautiful view. Plenty of space in the room.

There was a bit of an odd smell in the bathroom. Finding your way in the first time is a bit tricky -- it just looks like an apartment building, and mixed in with all the doorbells for all the units, there is one that says "B&B", but no other signage. You have to ring that bell to be let in, then go up to the third floor, where the unit on the right is the B&B.

Lovely place with style, but I liked the location best. It feels tucked away while very central location close to all in walking distance. Great restaurants just right downstairs or within a block. Would stay here again.

The only thing I didnt like is that our room opened onto the shared kitchen. I was worried there would be noise from that, but luckily we never encountered anyone else. We were there mid week like on a Tues/Wed in early spring. The bathroom was not my favorite either. Nothing really wrong but it seemed to have like a pump out system that was a little weird/noisy, but not a big deal. Also, check in had to be arranged. There isnt just someone there all the time during check in hours. Was a little tricky as we were driving from elsewhere, site seeing, and not able to be exact about timing. Luckily it worked out.

Very central but quiet at night. The property appears to be a former home with a kitchen and lounge available for guest use. Our room was off the kitchen, which was fine but it was very original and old fashioned.

A long walk from the station on cobblestone footpaths. Our return was by taxi for a very reasonable price. On our arrival there were thousands of visitors to the city for the Flower Festival, many of whom travelled by train. A taxi would have been impossible. The ensuite bathroom was tiny, basic, and old fashioned. No 24 hour reception.

Excellent location close to the center of Girona restaurants and ramblas. The owner Johnny was a perfect host - quick responses and meeting him in person to discuss cycling really made the trip . Nice served breakfast in the common area. Leaving the bags till later on with the spare key and easy going stay made it feel homely yet chacterful.

We had an issue with the electrics which he promptly sorted . Kudos !. WiFi signal may be weak in the bedroom but super fast in common area. We really enjoyed the stay. Everything you need.

Very atmospheric location, in an old building on a street in the old town. I had an impressive bedroom had high ceilings, a balcony and shutters on the windows. It was good to find a lift!

For a place with B&B in the title I was a little confused about whether breakfast was offered or included. After a pleasant chat with the owner in the morning we were asked if we would like some breakfast, and when we said yes he soon produced a simple but enjoyable light meal (including salted Catalan tomatoes and olive oil on sourdough - delicious!), for which we were charged 5 euros each.

The stay is very well located and has a nice looking interior. What was especially memorable was the friendliness of the staff. We were allowed to leave our bags “for as long as we liked” after checking out and even given a special set of keys to enter the B&B. When my girlfriend unfortunately spilled a drink over her clothes, the lady allowed her to wash up and helped her clean her clothes. For these reasons I can’t recommend this stay enough for anyone visiting Girona.

This is B&B accommodation located in an apartment block. There is a tiny notice on the bell system which I failed to see. There is a big sign in the window but it's two floors up so you have to look. I was speaking to the delightful owner and he said that that is all he is allowed to do as its a historic building

Great location, well appointed kitchen, a very private and (relatively) quiet room. Not a busy hotel or hostel, pretty calm. Breakfast is an option or you can cook your own. The best part was the host,”Johnny”. Incredibly helpful, attentive, interesting , informative and kind. We feel like he became a good friend.

The placa below could be a little loud but they shut down at 11. Depends how early you retire.

The location is fantastic. Center of old quarter just as indicated online. Very kind owners who were very helpful with directions to local events and facilities. The rooms were spacious. The B&B accomodations were great. There is a lift elevator if you dont want to climb stairs. The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the castle that is free to walk around. I would recommend staying here again.

There is a tower church bell that sounds off every 15mintues/ 24/7. Ear plugs are recommended at night if you are a light sleeper. The B& B hosts were very accomodating allowing our choice of rooms to minimize the tower bells. This aspect is out of their control. I had no problems sleeping at night. It ads charm to the entire stay. Girona truely is a Gem that is overlooked.
