Our bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We were on level 1 and could use the stairs and elevator. The lighting in the room was excellent and the room was quiet. On our 3 week trip we have stayed at lots of properties and our stay here was spontaneous. It was a good choice and we would recommend it to others. The secure parking was an option we took as we were returning a rental car the next day. The parking was only $10 plus tax. We checked in around 7 pm and the door at the front was locked but the desk is staffed and they let you in. You have a code to enter at the rear if you go out and return later. The staff give good dining recommendations. Breakfast was complimentary.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful plus the location was within walking distance to everything we needed to see. Breakfast was good, Kept looking for the waffle iron, had syrup and butter out but no waffle's. The Staff really made the place enjoyable!

Floors in the bedroom could of used a dust mop and I'm accustom to having a top sheet on a bed, Not a Duvet for a bed spread. A Little disappointed that they charge you $10 per night to park in their gated parking lot.

Staff is super friendly and go out of their way to please! Facilities are old but adequately maintained. Our room was small but had a good view (nice communal balcony out front). Breakfast is good, nothing special (scrambled eggs and sausage with the usual breads, fruits and cereals). The place has a friendly intimate feel. Normal room rate is a bit pricey. Great location.

Seems a bit pricey for what you get. We've stayed at suite cane and st denis... different experiences at each one but thought they were better values.

We loved the location of the hotel, we were able to walk everywhere. The town is fun, and places to eat were wonderful. There were several places offering delivery as well. We did go during a holiday weekend when the town had activities going on. It would be the perfect place to stay in December the town is all about Christmas and even though it was October they were putting lights up.

We would have loved a bathtub, the furniture was beautiful, the mattress was nice quality but too firm for us with older back issues. The staff was lovely, the hotel as well just the mattress for us.

Location and old style charm. The fact that there was no carpet. Private parking.

The beds were way too soft. The toiletries were limited compared to other hotels, only one small bar of soap to share between sink and tub. The breakfast was very limited and didn’t have the same options all 3 days. Only one morning there was bananas and only one morning there was boiled eggs. The grits and oatmeal were not very obvious located.

We discovered this hotel on a previous trip, but were unable to stay as they were booked. However, on this most recent adventure of ours, to Louisiana to explore cities, and then return to Texas by way of Natchitoches. I was able to book a room for the night. The personnel are lovely. The room is wonderful and everything is pretty much perfect for a night stay. I had no problem parking on the street for the night but there is an option for gated parking for a very reasonable fee. Very well pleased. I will stay here again. There is one caveat emptor. I felt that the air conditioner in my room was noisy, but I had ear plugs so it was a non issue. Instalations where so clean social nice smell in the rooms i'll say the instalation, where so cute , is great the utilities , on the rooms , and iron ,the coffee maker , the access to coffee ,drinks on the main lobby and the in the breakfast,was good , everything on, with wonderful a quiet place even, when it was in the main street, the kindnes of the staff on helping us in a late check in on the entrance and the flexibility they offer shows a clear expression on the type service they will be deliver to you thank you so much

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were sad to leave. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The building felt like a historical place yet up to date at the same time. It is a beautiful building, and the downtown shops are just a few steps away. Going during The Festival of Lights just added magic to the whole experience. 10/10 would stay again.

Loved the ambiance, the staff was personable and the optional amenities were wonderful. The fact that they were so willing to let us check in early was fabulous, because we wanted to paddle board and sight see the first part of the day without carrying around our luggage. This was a game changer for us , because we like to get our time's worth when we visit places. So.......THANK YOU. LOVED IT

This was our second stay at Church Street in the last 6 months. Love the easy check-in and the location near the river. We like unique places to stay. Our positive experience the first time brought us back this second time.

The only critique would be the breakfast left a little to be desired. The food, while sufficient enough, is only so/so. Such a unique property would be better served with a little better quality of food for breakfast. Personally we would pay a bit more for the upgrade in food.
