The location is perfect. The air in the room cooled down nicely. I love how big the room was! The shower was super nice. The pricing was very decent for the location, that was the best part!!

I walked up to the front desk to check in and wasn’t acknowledged due to the front desk person being on the phone. I thought she was on the phone with a customer but she was actually on her personal phone. I finally was acknowledged and checked in after 5 mins of her being on her personal cell phone. Parking is very limited. The bed was very hard; so I didn’t sleep the greatest. The elevators weren’t working.. we were fortunate that we were leaving when they broke down and had to walk down four flights of stairs rather than walking up them. There’s also no air flow in the hallways..

This was my second stay at Chateau St. Denis. Both were enjoyable. The hotel is convenient to the historic downtown area. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops.

The first evening the elevators was not working requiring us to carry our luggage upstairs. This would not been a problem but my partner is recovering from hip replacement. Fortunately, the elevators were working by the next morning. The floor in the suite seemed to have a slick coating. Most likely something that was used to clean the floor. It felt as if it was oiled.

This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely name! There are wonderful touches of Natchitoches and its history. This is a fabulous place to stay for the Christmas lights. It is right around the corner from all the excitement! There was a severe weather warning, right after we checked in, and we felt totally safe and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating, even offering to get something from my car for me! Breakfast was exceptional. There were many choices and the food was hot and delicious. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and kind. Everyone was personable and approachable. I would recommend this stay to anyone seeking a top class, carefree, historical experience. Thank you so much, Chateau! We plan to return every year and stay with you during the Christmas lights festival.

We parked in the back a bit early and had to climb a hill to get around to the front of the hotel. Lol. We didn’t realize that we could’ve gotten in the back door, which was unlocked.

Location to downtown and lake very good. Hotel is clean, breakfast is very good.

Parking, Parking, Parking, Unloading and Waiting to check in. Parking is about 2 blocks away. Have to walk in the rain to hotel. Only one person to check in multiple people. Slow. Long wait. Uncovered entry. Did I say rain on you while unloading car. Having to wait single file while car in front checks in, unloads, takes suitcases to room, returns to move car to remote parking.. Unable to unload or park on street to unload. Kids above our room was jumping, running for a couple of hours at night and again starting around 6 in the morning.

The location, and price was good.

In our room, the door was falling off of the hinge. You had to lift the door up in order to close it. The tub backs up, and was dingy. The floors were not properly swept, for example, there were m%m’s and pop corn behind the bathroom door. The furniture was outdated, and there were no blankets on the bed, just the standard bedspread. Which I choose not to use because most hotels do not wash them regularly.

Staff and location are wonderful. Breakfast was nice; very good coffee.

#1 the cleaning solution used on the "wood floors' leaves them dangerously slippery, even after it is dry. #2 the parking lot entry door was NOT secure with key card entry because it was broken. This is unsafe and definitely not secure. #3 On the 3rd floor (307,308, 309 ?) A combined room door was always ajar. Even if it is used as a utility space, it should be securely closed

They hotel and rooms were beautiful - so much character and charm. Very comfortable beds. The staff were courteous and helpful. Loved the location and how walkable it was to other parts of the area.

The only down side we had was being placed by a family with a young child that hollered almost until midnight and then began again in the early morning. I would not want to deny families the opportunity to stay at your hotel but if you have the room capacity place young families with children away from other guests. We shared a wall with this family but I am sure those across they hall were also impacted by the noise.

The picture doesn't do it justice. The black iron work, the brick terrace, the super comfortable lounging areas, the architecture inside the building all added to the relaxing environment of this unique city. The staff were spot on with knowledge and courtesy which is greatly appreciated. Easy check in and out. The room was super quiet. There was a free breakfast buffet but it just wasn't our cup of tea. We plan on visiting this town again and will stay here and explore when we have more time.

Room was clean, quiet, overlooked the courtyard. Location is excellent- one block to Front Street and riverbank with multiple restaurants, shops, bars - lots of options. It was super convenient for St. Pat day pub crawl and I just recommended it to a friend attending jazz fest in May. We stayed three nights and breakfast buffet was 7-10am daily- scrambled eggs, grits, pork and turkey sausages, bagels, sliced bread/toaster, juices, coffee, yogurt.

Minor aspects but we did get a little frustrated that ice makers on multiple floors were often empty. Our room, while certainly clean, appeared a bit overdue for recaulking of shower base.

Rhe hotel in this off season was a delight. Easy parking, quick checkin, friendly front desk.

Since breakfast was included, the hotel might wish to up it's game. Maybe it's the season but steam table scrambled eggs, link sausage, boxed cereal is adequate but a little down market for this hotel. Staff were on hand however and could not have been nicer. And of course the more-or-less local Community Coffee is always welcome.
