Quiet, clean, spacious. I travel with my little dog and it was so nice to be placed in a clean space. I don't mind paying a pet fee but then I don't like being sent to the worst rooms in a hotel. This was not the case here at Holiday Inn, Van Horn. The exits were conveniently located so I could take the Princess out very easily. Great choices for breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room's door to the hallway needs adjustment: it's uneven when you close it so you have to jiggle it some. I also thought the bathroom floor looked dirty in a few spots; however, that may be part of the flooring's "look"; don't know.

The Breakfast was very nice. The food was tasty and hot.

The swimming pool was not available. This is the 2nd time i have been to the Hotel & the pool was not available during very hot weather😢.

Have stayed here numerous times driving to San Antonio. Best in Van Horn.

The towels! Gracious, use some fabric softener or replace the towels. Multiple washing is understandable, and clean imperative, but these were beyond rough. These were not acceptable. I am generally not picky about such matters, but the towels in this room were atrocious.

The staff that helped with breakfast was amazing. I took down my ice bucket because the one on our floor didn’t work. She came over to our table and asked if she could fill it. I watched her help other customers too. Exceptional service!

Need a ramp in the back for trolleys. Had to walk all the way around with our suitcase etc.

Breakfast was standard breakfast and well presented and warm. Holiday Inn was less than a year old and therefore in good shape. There are no good locations in Van Horn. Only found two decent places to eat, other than fast food places.

Booked by calling HI directly and they filed reservation under my FIRST name; took 10 minutes to sort out.

The room was excellent. The night staff were terrific, we arrived pretty late and they were so helpful. The parking is great. It’s right off the freeway which is exactly what we needed. The breakfast was really good as well.

The staff member at the desk in the morning wasn’t very pleasant, but we all have bad days.

Nice accomodations & clean

Had asked for quiet room. Got room on 1st floor next to side entrance door that made a huge bang when someone entered or left, which they did, all night. Property full, so no other rooms available. Had reservations, notified we would have late arrival and asked for quiet room. Basically got what was left.

Location, size of room, great A/C, comfy bed, good coffee, friendly staff and there is a freezer section in the in room fridge!

Slow elevators and the elevator has a funky chemical smell, the water pressure in the shower is terrible and the hotel uses lavender scented soaps-yuck!

The bed is so comfortable, the room is spacious and I love that the mini fridge has a freezer! The breakfast and coffee were good and the staff are very friendly!

Lavender soap! I am highly allergic so I wish they used an unscented or more mildly scented soap.
