We spoke with two different ladies when checking in and when checking out, both were amazing!!! The rooms were very clean.

Our bed was a little uncomfortable and when a family moved into the room next door at midnight, we realized that the walls were not very insulated. The breakfast was a little lacking, but still decent. We would have liked better coffee and creamer varieties. While milk works for most, it really isn't a good choice for us.

there are few places to stay across this area of texas but this place is always clean, safe and friendly.

the train can be heard in the night but that is because the highway runs the path of the track. there are no hotel options that don't have a train track close by. i am used to it and it doesn't bother me anyway. i'm grateful for the clean, safe place to stay.

Finally they have upgraded the facilities. Upgraded the floor and bathroom.

Last time we were in this facility, they bed wobble (still wobble), they have carpet in the floor which stinks and many more. Now my complaint and my wife the air conditioner/heater is old and noisy. Please replace the unit to every room.

We stopped here mainly rest, not "walk around or sight-see", but Days Inn Wyndam Van Horn was a great pick. Price was awesome, continental breakfast was simple but kindly provided, room was relatively clean (older building). I left my makeup bag there by accident, and luckily they had it when we stopped by two days later in tact, so I'm very thankful to the workers there. My family and I were very comfortable and had a good night's rest. Van Horn is a city where there are a lot of commuters coming in and leaving (especially workers in the trucking industry, but there were also a many families in this hotel as well (Spring Break time), just make sure to stay together if you have children (common sense). Van Horn is a city where you stop to rest, not really to sight-see although areas like Marfa, Big Bend, McDonald Observatory, Davis/Guadalupe Mountain are nearby. Days Inn Van Horn is a great place to rest before you go onto your next adventure. Sunrises in Van Horn are beautiful.

We were originally booked for the 16th and we ran into the tornado in Katy, TX. I had no cell service to call them and let them know. So we missed our reservation. It was a very stressful drive and after finally arriving at the hotel. They were understanding and comped us a room. I will be back!!

Very nice for a lower cost motel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and a very good price. Pet only $10 more.

Floor could have been a bit cleaner and bathroom door (rm 146) would not latch closed so I had to use the chair to block my cat in.

Convenient location and friendly staff. Cindy was especially helpful, going out of her way to ensure I could use the TV in my room, when the remote would not work.

We want to express our gratitude to the cleaning staff and to the management at the Van Horn, Texas Days Inn. First, the cleaning person was honest and highly responsible. She turned in my wife's tablet, which we had left behind, to the Office. Then, Management worked with us to arrange for the tablet to be mailed to us. This high level of honesty and professionalism is most commendable.

The furniture is showing signs of wear.

This was my favorite stop! Everyone was super friendly. I could park pretty much outside my room. The fridge was huge! Clean, comfortable, and so very reasonable. I'm so grateful for this site and would recommend.

I really didn't "not like" anything. Well, maybe some outlets closer to the bed.

WE stayed at this hotel 6 years ago and outside looks bad, but staff and rooms are good. Booking.com was the issue. I had made reservations and had the same date as the previous city in Arkansas. I went online to see if room was still available and found out at check-in that the room was cancelled because of the same date. They had a room available and everything worked out fine.

Booking. com not reconfirming the correct date. Not the hotel issue, but booking.com. But everything else was in good working order and no problems incurred at check-in.
