It's really nice small hotel with great atmosphere. The owner (and receptionist in one person) is very friendly and even with my crooked Spanish I was able to get through. The only tiny flaw was the breakfast, which I wanted to take in the tavern downstairs and the bar clerk didn't speak any English whatsoever. Plus the menu was only in Catalan (not even in Spanish), so after a few tries I gave up and went to the tavern across the street. But this is just a minor flaw and it should not discourage anybody as the hotel and everything around is just perfect.

Great location. No parking facilities, however, free parking on the beach, 5-10 minutes away. All on the flat. Breakfast was fine, usual selection of continental items. They did have fried eggs available, that was the only hot item. Good cafe, and good service. The restaurant looked good with an interesting menu, however I didn't eat there.

Stairs, no lift. So I struggle with mobility, just be aware when booking.

The first surprise on arriving is that you walk into a fine Catalan bar, which acts as the forecourt of the hotel. The friendly staff made us feel really welcome, explaining the idiosyncrasies of the place (the bar closes on Tuesdays, for example). We were fully informed of how to access the hotel part of the building after the bar closes and shown to our room. The hotel is well situated for rambling around the well signposted local walks (which all start from the square in which the hotel is located). It is also an ideal base for exploring the entire Montseny area. The trails here are varied and generally spectacular. We ate a couple of times at the bar, because there were some fine vegetarian options for me and meaty goodness for my partner. They also had some very nice beers too. If I return to that area I have no doubt where I will be staying.

There is not much I would say that was negative about our stay. Any inconveniences, such as the bar section of the hotel being closed on Tuesday (in the off season) are well dealt with by the staff.

Basic accommodation, but good for the price, Nice bathroom. Beds basic. Good restaurant, good prices, value for money, and very nice personnel. I felt very welcome.

Parking is possible but not easy to find a spot. You need blue parking disk.

Very cozy and homy little hotel with a nice restaurant where to eat local food. The staff were extemely kind and we felt like home. Just outside there's a peaceful plaza where you can have a drink and plan your day. I would definetely recommend it

The town in which the hotel is situated is absolutely lovely, the locals very friendly, the restaurant in the square was brilliant. The hotel was quaint and clean and I think if it had been open then it would have been a much more enjoyable experience. Staff were very nice.

We had a message the day before (I missed the email) to say the hotel was closed but we were let in by the staff/owners and given our rooms after we called the number provided. There was only a couple of small sachets of shower gel in the room and no soap which does not seem like a big deal but for generally washing hands after using the lavatory required rationing. The towel I used after my shower was stale smelling like it hadn't been dried promptly- had to shower again and use a different one. The hotel did not offer breakfast the following morning.
