Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Room was clean with good air conditioning and towelling robes and flip flops made available. Excellent choice of food and drink for breakfast. Outdoor pools very useful for 'cooling off' from high daytime temperature during my stay with atmospheric indoor spa pools and quirky, attractive grounds to relax in . Only a short walk to the train station to take a trip into central Barcelona.

Coffee/ tea making facilities in room were not available. The restaurant menu rather expensive with a limited choice of small or light dishes. To be fair, I didn't book any evening meals so unsure of the quality.

Great location, friendly staff, loved the breakfast. Very much enjoyed the spa every day of my stay. I looked forward to coming back to the hotel after sightseeing, so I could go soak in the hot pools and relax in the sauna. Plenty of parking, and within walking distance of the town centre and places to eat.

The walls in the corridors could do with changing or updating.

The staff were very helpful and our suite was palatial. And the music playlist at breakfast was great.

A lot of the infrastructure is a bit old. The door from the parking wouldn't open and various minor bits of the spa didn't work. (To be fair the important bits were fine.) The restaurant was so expensive we didn't use it once, and the breakfast could have been a bit better given a theoretical 18 euro value.

The Hotel Blancafort is an iconic destination in La Garriga. It's a beautiful old building with a large spa with both indoor and outdoor pools and massage and treatment options. The room was a good size, the bathroom was massive and had a bathtub. The breakfast was great too and quite varied. Would definitely recommend getting it!

The hotel has seen better days, the paint in the bathroom was cracked, the lamp shades were torn and the reception staff were pretty unfriendly.

the gardens were lovely and the spa pools were very enjoyable but crowded at times. we loved the different iced water that was available to drink in the spa area. the breakfasts were very good, with plenty of different things to chose from

the gym equipment wasn’t working and no one seemed interested when we reported this. reception was very busy at times, more staff are needed on arrival/departure days. it would be nice if the bar/cafe in the main entrance area of the hotel was open, it would be a lovely place to stop for a drink at different times of day

We went to the hotel for the Fiesta de San Juan, a special Christian night celebrated on the 23rd of June every year, the night before St. John's day; the patron Saint of Catalunya. It was a well planned and jolly occassion starting with a Cava reception at 8.30pm followed by an excellent outdoor dinner to the sound of violinist who then turned her skills to a cello and later an vibrant electric cello as the gathering got more lively. The fireworks didn't really disturb the event despite going on until about 3am. It is a short drive from Barcelona and a good escape for a more tranquil setting.

The problem with spa resorts is their maintenance. Despite a very good choice of treatments several of the ancilliary equipment was not working nor was the nearest lift to take us up to our bedroom on the first floor. It was a 75m walk to the lift at the other end of the building. Spa resort really should make sure all the equilpment on offer is working.

Hotel room and spa access- good value. Central location. Generous buffet breakfast.

Couldn't adjust aircon temperature in the room. Spa towel and slippers were not provided in the room, although I had booked the spa prior to my arrival. When I asked for them at the spa, they were annoyed. Communication was lacking.

Showers didn’t work in an otherwise fabulous Spa. Dinner was not available on our second night. ‘Restaurant’ full. We had a meal in town. Phone call from reception at 9.pm to say ‘didn’t you have a table at 8?’. No one told us.

Excellent facilities, very well kept, clean and attractive buildings, gardens, breakfast excellent. Nothing at all that I didn't like. Facial superb, have never had such a good treatment

Maybe a full length mirror in the bedroom would have been nice, and a little surprised that there wasn't a steam room. I found the large spa "bubble" pool a little too deep for comfort.
