Very good hotel, good location the centre is very nice e is close to the train station which is very comfortable, very good customer service for both reception and restaurant. The restaurant is very good and offer typical Catalan food with good quality. Rooms are large and comfortable, they provide you hand soap, shower gel, shampoo (very good quality) and shower slippers and they leave you a bottle of water which you can refill anytime in the common area and this is a big thumbs up. I recommend this hotel in all the ways!!!

Lack of fridge in the room.

The objective of this trip was to rest in a hotel that we didn't need to leave if we didn't want to. It was perfect. Comfortable, clean and well-arranged rooms. Restaurant always open, well prepared local food. Friendly staff.

Upon arrival after midnight we were greeted by an unfriendly employee and faced with a room change, from a room with a garden to another on the third floor... Although the intention was good, we should have been warned in advance. But the next day the issue was resolved. Breakfast is very basic, it could be complemented with some options that are common nowadays, eggs, fresh fruit, varieties of bread, etc... Information should be included that rooms with garden are located at first floor level. On the access stairs, a handrail would facilitate passage.

We tried to cancel this reservation because our flight was delayed 7 hours and the hotel refused to refund us even with proof so we stayed in this lovely room for a total of 5 hours of sleep and showering. It was worth it and we would return yet that was a HARD pill to swallow as we were traveling international and it was out of our control. Nice bathroom, view, decor, and slippers gave an added touch! Plus they held our bags after checkout :)

Very nicely decorated hotel with spacious, clean and beautiful room. Great little details in terms of furniture and decoration. Everything worked properly and a very generous check-out time of 12pm. Friendly staff that speaks English. The breakfast (€10) was limited but very tasteful (it's not buffet style, but you get a selection of items + coffee/tea). Lunch and dinner options are good: traditional Catalonian cuisine.

The hotel has no parking, so you have to park closeby. Be aware that the standard price in this parking is €55 per day, but the hotel can give a €40 discount. Still a bit pricey. Getting into the room with a key card + code was a bit elaborate. Not all lamps were working in the room which was a pity. There is no refrigerator in the room

The hotel is pretty historic, though has been appropriately modernised. It looks beautiful both outside and in. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you could need, including lovely toiletries. The staff were all wonderful, very friendly and helpful. As others have said, there is of course some noise from the street, but I'm pretty sure all of the rooms are on the outer sides of the building so it wouldn't be possible to moved to a quieter room. That's just staying in a hotel/ apartment on the streets of Spain for you! It didn't disrupt our sleep too much as everyone was quiet during the 12am-7am period. The restaurant of the hotel is also really lovely and we enjoyed our meal there. Would highly recommend for a stopover.

We had an excellent weekend stay. The hotel was perfectly located for seeing the old city. Room and service were excellent. Beds were comfortable. We especially appreciated the assistance offered by the front desk staff.

The lighting in our room was too poor to read a book at night and that could be a problem for business travelers. Lighting in the elevator also was too low and made finding the right button a nuisance.

Place was so nice and tidy. The dark interior loved it! They gave us slippers for free in the hotel as well. Nice balcony and the restaurant was lovely which was right in the hotel so great for access They had a water fountain on each floor for guests to help them selves and refresh which was great. The staff were so friendly. It was about 35 mins from Barcelona which was good. And location wise the hotel was right by the shops and little city centre/ high street.

Nothing to complain about it was great

The room was so comfortable, cozy, and spacious. The hotel is located on top of a very nice restaurant. All the amenities were provided, and regular room cleaning. The location was very central and close to everything. Probably a 10 min walk to Granollers station.

It would have been nice for the room to have a mini fridge to keep things cool.

Location was perfect as was visiting friends who live in Granollers and wanted to experience the fiesta Mayor which was right outside. Staff were super friendly and very patient when I attempted to speak Spanish but all spoke very good English

It may have been because it was the fiesta mayor but the bar and restaurant didn’t stay open long enough.

restaurant and bar, and the wonderful breakfast. the staff are professional at every level. Housekeeping is top-class the hotel is spotless, they gave us another room when we felt the original mattress was too firm for our taste, done with a smile

the Fonda is an institution in the town, popular and buzzing, lovely for guests and locals, great value for money, please don't change
