It isn’t easy to compare this experience with that of a conventional hotel. Sleeping in a trullo feels like stepping back in time, a somewhat mystical experience. Yet, you won’t have to give up comfort to enjoy it. The architect who restored “our” trullo created a masterpiece, incorporating every modern convenience—from a beautiful bathroom to air conditioning—without compromising the historic charm of the building.

As for the trullo, the only remark worth making is that while it is equipped with a kitchen and a kettle, there isn’t even a cup to be found inside… The breakfast arrangement with a pizzeria is decent, but the coffee is not up to the standard of Italian espresso or cappuccino. It’s a pity that they use only disposable tableware, which might be irritating for those with an ecological conscience.

We stayed in a trullo which is what l wanted to do. The three bedrooms for only two persons l thought would be roomy. We had beds for 6 persons but a double and single were upstairs via a small circular staircase. I thought the bedrooms would be off the main room which had a kitchen and table and chairs but they were above it. It’s quite an experience for three nights. Hate to stay there with 6 people though. The kitchen had no kettle but 6 tea bags, one wine glass not enough mugs or tumblers for 6 and a bit of crockery and cutlery. There is no coffee machine, garden or outside area to speak of. The office staff ‘Laura’ was extremely helpful and a font of local knowledge and information. Luckily there are lots of restaurants, bars, pizzerias and coffee places close at hand.

Very nice location, very central, beautiful surroundings and a lot of nice places to eat nearby. Walkable distance to everything we wanted to see. The trulli itself is very lovely. Very cute place to stay in. Very spacious too. Has a nice and clean bed, clean towels, another area with a couch/bed with a table next to it and three chairs. The bathroom is rather on the small side, but still comfortable and nice. Overall beautiful, cozy place to stay in with an incredible location.

The reason why I don’t give this place 10/10 is because there was no hot water. I don’t know if this is the usual, but my friend couldn’t shower with warm water and I had it for like two seconds and then it started to get cold. Also, there was a water leak or something, so the floor of the bathroom got wet (I don’t know if from the shower or the wc). Nothing bad, but still. Last thing was that the mini fridge was not working. From what I could understand it was set to be working (I may be wrong), but it was not cooling a bit.

Our Trulli was in an excellent location. We arrived at 11 a.m. by taxi from Monopoli, for which we paid €50. The bus is another option, but we wanted the convenience on this leg of our trip through Pulgia. The reception staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to check into our room early. You can also leave your luggage at reception if the room is not ready. Our trulli was very clean and comfortable, roomy & quiet. We stayed in number 9.

The number of people visiting Alberobello during the day is huge. However, this really dropped in the afternoon. It's very quiet at night. We were here in early June, and I'm sure it's a bit busier later in the season. There are a lot of sovereign shops, each selling much of the same things.

An unforgettable experience staying in a trulli house. From the moment we walked into the property, we were captivated by the unique charm of the trulli. The trullo itself was spotless, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. The reception staff was helpful and informative. This is a truly unique and authentic experience, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Just a little difficult to get to if you have heavy suitcases. But the whole town is the same. Not really a property issue but more a town layout.

Our stay at Tipico Resort was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The resort is beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the charm of the traditional surroundings. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we could ask for. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings made it feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Alberobello, allowing us to explore the stunning Trulli houses just a short walk away. The staff was always attentive and willing to provide recommendations on the best places to visit in the area. Overall, Tipico Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable stay in Alberobello, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

Check-in was fine, youing man very pleasant and helpful, gave us a map of Alberobello, escorted us to the Trullo. House was nice, a good size, and well finished and modernised inside. Good size bedroom, plenty of storage, modern bathroom with good shower. Free parking just on edge of village for Trullo renters was great.

The main complaint was the total lack of drink-making or cooking facilities. There wasn't even a kettle. It would have been greatly improved by having tea and coffee making facilities, and even better if it had had a kitchenette. There was plenty of space for this to be provided. Without this, it meant we had to walk to some cafe in village centre and pay 4 Euros for a cup of hot water and a teabag. One other thing was nowhere to sit outside on a hot day. Front door was right on street, and no garden or courtyard elsewhere.

We loved the layout of the 3 bedroom apartment Trullo. Very cozy yet it felt like being transported back in time, like medieval! It was very spacious, super thick walls. Loved the kitchenette, we cooked a few nights and made some amazing new memories. The little 3 minute walk to the fruit stand and to Todis the market; superb location. It was away from crowds but in the Trulli neighborhood!!! AC amazing in master room (lower level) dining room, living room!! Beautiful stone work all around and gorgeous tiling in master bath! The breakfast was delicious every day!!!

Very minor things: The main floor bedroom didnt have AC. But we made it work by leaving bedroom doors open for air flow. The upstairs 3rd bedroom did have AC but didnt cool well. Not enough space up there for a suitcase.

Sleeping in this little trulli was something we will never forget. This amazing place offers everything you need while staying in Alberobello. The girl who welcomed us was so nice - she gave us useful tips for places to visit and also for places where we could have dinner. She also offered us free breakfast in a nice central cafe which was so nice of her🙏🏻 Recommend this place 100%. We are definitely going to come back here soon❤️
