The staff is very nice, they helped us with some issues with the boat ticket. They offer several services with a good price: boat tour, laundry, scooter and even private transfers -which we used to go to Bromo. The location is perfect, near to the port but still in a quiet area (other streets in the island can be very noisy with scooters and mosques). The common area is very nice,specially with the dogs. There are different breakfast menus but the favorite was the homemade bread. If you’re looking for a nice hotel and helpful staff, stay here ! Thanks Silvia,John, Oni and bro!

Breakfast was tasty but the portion could have been bigger. Of course we prefer quality over quantity ;) The hot water runs out after few minutes but that’s not a big deal due the weather. It would be nice to have more storage space for longer stays.

The hospitality is simply top-notch; you feel at ease very quickly. Oni, Silvia, Ardi, and John all helped make this stay wonderful. The dorms have air conditioning, a real plus in this very hot and humid region. All the comforts are there. They offer multiple activities, and scooter rentals are available on-site… The breakfast is truly amazing. You’ll likely make some wonderful connections here. Karimunjawa was a real love-at-first-sight destination for me, and Isola Che is part of that. A thousand thanks, take care, and I hope we’ll have the chance to meet again!

Everyone kind and welcoming including the hosts Silvia and Jon. Staff Iman and Irpan are very warm and friendly, make sure you feel taken care of, and will try to help you as much as possible - whether that’s understanding the island, organising any activities, or just being great company and making everyone feel a part of any gatherings :) Clean comfy beds and toilets The hostel has quite a relaxed social vibe which was perfect for me, great location, and if you want to meet more people or play some games can just skip to Indigo a short walk away.

This isn’t a complaint because everything was fab but been travelling a while and missed having a little light in my bunk !

We really loved our stay at the hostel - among others because we felt a bit like part of a family. We spent some time chatting with the owners and several people working in the tourist sector on Karimunjawa and enjoyed it a lot (definitely also go to the Indigo in the evening to have some quizz or chat). The employee Oni is very caring and helped us with the pickup from the ferry, the scooter rental etc. And she organized an Indonesian breakfast for us eventhough the standard one is western at the hostel. We liked spending time with her and loved the evening we went fishing with her! The common area of the hostel is very comfortable and our room was nice as well.

There were several breakfast options as well as drinks! Always made once we woke up. Very filling or very sweet or very healthy or very local, your choice. All activities could be booked through the hostel (hiking, snorkel or boat tour, classes) as well as rental scooters (needed to get around the island we would say). Very generous people who even helped with getting off the island when our ferry was cancelled and would have helped to get on the island as it is a bit confusing. We even spent new years with the hostel owner and staffs crew with fireworks and delectable food. It is also in the heart of town and close to everything (beach, markets, bars, etc.). And is a scooters ride away from the whole island. If we were to come back, this is where we would stay.

The only thing we could think of is that there is no hot water for showers if you like that. It is like Luke warm. Shouldn’t be a problem though as it is hot out and nice to cool off.

The staff and the owner were friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of practical information about the surroundings. They even offered us to buy the ferry tickets before we even arrived at the accommodation. The breakfast was delicious. The room is spacious enough to put my luggage and clean. In the accommodation, you can rent a bike and arrange your island hopping trip.

There was a dog, but it didn't bark. My boyfriend was allergic to dog's hair. Just to keep in mind for people who allergic to animals' hair or moslim travellers, that this might be important to know.

Super nice hostel, located 2 minutes from the harbour! It is very clean and quiet, and the breakfast is delicious. They organize many activities such as snorkelling tours and camping of finishing trip:) Oni, the manager of the place, is a very nice and funny woman with whom you could spend hours chatting! She is so helpful and kind.! After sunset, almost every day, I went back to the hostel and had my coffee with her as a ritual! If you want to feel at home and recharge your batteries, I highly recommend this place Thanks for everything🥰

Amaaaaazing hospitality! Special shout out to the one and only Oni! If you’re on Karimunjawa, this is your place to stay. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, location is great right in town, and they will sort you out with anything you might need.

If I had to mention one thing to improve - The bunk was a bit squeeky and mattress a little worn down 🙏🏻

We stayed a couple of nights at Isola Che and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—just a two-minute walk from the harbor and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, and the overall vibe and friendliness of the staff made our stay even better. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Isola Che and would happily return.

There's only cold water in the shower but it's like that in many places, it doesn't bother me but might be nice to know. The bathrooms are very clean though! There were no lights by the beds but if you have a lamp or a phone it's fine.
