Hotel was in central location,5 min from historical downtown of beautiful city of Beroun Rooms are spacious, we stayed in family suite which had 2 connected rooms. Shower stall was little small,shower head had not very strong pressure and we couldn't somewhat adjust the head for steady shower stream Rooms were very quiet,hotel was build in old communist era,high ceilings, thick concrete walls. Most of the hotel was renovated and upgraded but you can clearly see that old architecture style on staircase for example. Paint on radiators in our room was peeling off,some shelfs in bathroom had watermark spots on it. It's small town and budget for improvement and updates in that hotel are surely limited, but regardless of the condition and few decoration flaws amd appearance we liked our stay and would definitely stay again if we're in that area It's only 30 min drive from Prague so the convenience of that close proximity to the capital is a bonus. We had a dinner in hotel's restaurant. The food was really good,although we had to wait little longer for it. The waiter was very busy taking orders for room service too,but again we didn't mind to wait little bit....it was all worthy Receptionist was very nice and communicative, parking was free, breakfast was delicious Many options of hot meals,fresh bread,buns ,pastry, fruit........we loved it. Beside the small fact that some parts of hotel are showing their age we really liked our stay and would definitely stay there again

Grand Hotel Litava is situated in the town of Beroun not too far from the motorway offering quick and easy access. The town itself is lovely and the central square was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel where you can find various bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel offers secure and safe parking which is always appreciated. The rooms are spacious and well maintained and we had a really lovely stay with our room overlooking parts of the old city walls. The restaurant offered plenty of good local produce and very nice local beer as well. Breakfast was plentiful and replenished rapidly when anything looked to be running low. Check in and check out was made without any problem and was quick. This hotel is really a very nice place to stay and we would recommend it

Absolutely nothing we found fault with

We have stayed in this hotel several times. Good location, good value for money. This time we got spacious and well furnished room,thank you.

There were several busses with guests coming at one time to reception and also for breakfast. Long queue at breakfast to even get into restaurant. No seats available. Stuff was stressed handling such huge amount of guests at once. It would be good to ask big groups to come at different times for breakfast..

Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast is very good. Generous. But away from prague. It's a sub urban around prague. But if you walk for 7-8 mins, you can take a bus 380/384 to reach Zlicin which connects to Prague metro.. so, it's suggested to take a ticket inside bus. Beroun station is around 200 cz by taxi, you can go to Plzen or prague easily within 1 hour. But, if you book this to roam prague night life - No. Several restaurants nearby.

Rooms are spacious. Located next to the gate to old town. Staff is friendly and met our requests. We were comfortable staying there with kids. If you do not require your accomodation to be modern or luxurious it's a great choice and a great value for money.

Rooms could use a little upkeep (the door lock in the bathroom was getting stuck.)

The breakfast wasn’t perfect, when it’s get a bit busier easily run out of food and hardly replace them The staff of the morning at the restaurant are not to kind and don’t speak at all…

In general view of this hotel stay, I would like to tell in simplified expression what most of travelers would like to get or to search best hotel with planned cost. The booked room was the spacious to stay as well clean.. The breakfast is awesome to choice every day different salad.. The parking plot is also good if you knew the another parking space behind the hotel building. Lately you are moving into the hotel from the outside travel somewhere, most of case front of the hotel parking space was not promising. I would like to recommend the behind of the hotel building to park. It is very closer to the main entrance of the hotel.

Nothing except few electrical appliance as like coffee maker...

I have nothing to complain about. The quality and comfort are adequate for the price. The hotel is good for short stays, especially business trips. Good breakfasts, and parking is available.

There was nothing I didn't expect when booking.

- Old soc-style "grand hotel" - huge rooms, great views, marble floors etc - Very clean - Excellent location (at the city walls), easy to find - Convenient parking - we left the car right next to the entrance - Great value for the money, esp. considering the complementary breakfast

- The usual - more power plugs please - Maybe an extra luggage cart - Everything else was great

The room was very nice. I like that the hotel has his own big gym. There is not so many facilities in the gym but it is enough for some workout and I liked the big place there.

The hotel has his own parking but it is very small and probability of parking our cars inside was very low. There are parkings outside but they are paid during the day.
