A wonderful, cozy room in a large private house! The host is a university professor who loves traveling and meeting new people. With such hosts, you truly feel like a welcomed guest. We had great conversations, and breakfast was hearty with a wide variety of options. The host studies volcanoes and has lived in Indonesia for some time, so the rooms are named and decorated after Indonesian islands. Everything was stylish, simple, and comfortable. There were no insects, even though there were trees right outside the windows. The bathroom had everything we needed. We were also kindly offered secure parking on the property. Highly recommended!

location of property was a short walk to train station with a direct train into Paris, lovely forest nearby and food outlets. older property with lots of personality and great hosts, the bed in the purple room was the comfiest I have ever slept in! great location in general for exploring and easy accessible by car

10-15mins walk from Melun station. The building is in a quiet road. The hosts, Franck & Emma were wonderful. Franck was very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed, from breakfast and getting around Melun. The room that was assigned to us had a balcony. It was warm and the hot water was superb. The room was just perfect for our stay as we were only in Melun for 2 days. Breakfast is also included in the price we paid so we din't have to go out and look for a place to eat in the morning. I definitely recommend this when staying in Melun.

It was 7 minutes walk from the house to the train station and 25/30 minutes on the train to Paris! The house was lovely and the room was spacious and we were greeted by really friendly and welcoming hosts. We were even given extra space to accommodate the dog. Thank you so much 😊

The location was on a main road exiting the town, but it was quiet. The offsite parking was useful and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Our room was small and on the top floor but as we had booked at the last minute, comfortable. The towels were the best we had had on the trip so far! Emma made us feel welcome, and helped with getting our luggage up the stairs even though she was smaller than both of us!

The separate toilet down the hall was daunting at first, but as it is private to your room and big and comfortable, it worked out well.

Very pleasent stay. Nice room, lovely continental breakfast. Frank let us park our motorbikes in his garage. He was a very good host. Fairly close to train station.

This house is very unique as if you stay in a castle! The owner, Emma, is very friendly and you can contact her easily if you have things to ask. If you like to try Indonesian food, it is not a bad idea to have dinner in her home stay, she can cook very well. The room that we got was not very spacious but that was enough for us and we have all what we need for a night. What very important is: the room and bathroom are clean! :-) They have enough parking place and you don't have to pay extra for that. Breakfast is included and it will be a good start for your day.
