This is an excellent property for an overnight stay in a small village fairly close to Fontainebleau (15 mins drive). The apartment is part of the owner’s residence, once you enter thru the front door of the residence, the apartment is a self contained suite off the foyer, it’s very private and quiet with the owners just a door knock away if needed. The suite has a king size bed, a sofa and dining table, and 3 large windows give pleasant views to the garden and street. The bathroom is well set up and has everything for an overnight stay. The suite has an immaculate presentation and it’s obvious the hosts know how to treat their guests. The included breakfast was quite terrific, croissants, baguettes, ham, cheese, jams, yogurt, fruit, tea & coffee. Nothing more was needed for us, all delivered at our preferred time on a mobile service to the suite. Despite other reviewers comments, there are in fact several very good quality restaurants within 5-10 mins walking. We dined at Sakura (Japanese) simply fantastic.

Three things: The small size of the bath towels is frankly ridiculous and is at odds with the overall quality of the suite. We were there on a very hot 30+ night and the room is not air-conditioned and was stiflingly hot and we spent a very uncomfortable night despite the owners providing a fan for us. Be aware of this if you are visiting in the hotter months. Also, there is very limited street parking for anyone arriving by car. We were able to find a spot very close as luckily someone left just as we arrived, but parking is not easy. We walked to dinner on a very hot night rather than risk losing the car space, even through the owner offered to give us his parking spot.

An excellent location within a short driving distance from Fontainebleu chateau. Ina quiet street just a short walk from the town centre where there was an excellent friendly Italian restaurant. The owner was very welcoming. A very tasty breakfast was brought to our room on a trolley at the agreed time. The room was well decorated and very comfortable with windows looking over a small garden. Parking for the car was located on the street outside. Good bathroom with a clean hot shower.

The room is enormous and very light, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, the hosts are delightful, friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to shops and a couple of restaurants.

Only staying one night. 😒 Lack of eating options locally. But was a Sunday,and not the fault of the hosts

Welcoming host, lovely spacious room, great location for sightseeing, Versailles, Fontainebleu etc.

On road parking, we prefer private parking, although it was a quiet village setting.

everything was nice meet clean and welcoming. extra blankets available water bottle on the house mini fridge available (normal prices for drinks) coffee and tea available shampoo and body wash available clean towels

we got in very late and it was a bit difficult to understand how to open the safe by the door to retrieve the key

The Wi-Fi was a little temperamental & I was unable to access some sites

It was excellent! We arrived in the evening and were greeted by a very nice couple. This is their house where they live on one side and rent out the other. Patricia was super nice and helpful and went above and beyond in her hospitality. The breakfast was beautifully served and included bread, yogurt, croissants, jelly, juice, and hot chocolate. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality.
