Los Colibris is a beautiful place and everything worked seamlessly. My little villa on the hillside had everything I wanted: DRINKABLE water (fantastic!), beach towels and umbrella, a beautiful view of the Pacific (migrating whales included), an incredibly comfortable bed, hot shower, a nice little kitchen (with even an ice tray in the freezer - yay), coffee and an easy-to-use coffee maker, and the most lovely patio visited by hummingbirds, orioles and finches. I spent my late afternoons whale-watching from the hot tub. The pool was beautiful too, but too cold for me in January. The hot tub was primo. Everything was spotlessly clean. I was traveling alone and felt safe there. They said the local beach was a 20-minute walk, but it would have been a hike for me to get back up the hill, so I drove. I think a car is really necessary there because the place is also about an eight-minute drive to the center of town. Plus, I drove to the next beach south, Los Cerritos, which was a better beach because you can swim and there are facilities there. The Todos Santos beach is beautiful but there are no bathrooms. At Los Cerritos I got a beach chair and umbrella, from which I watched several whales breach. Magical. I appreciated that the Los Colibris owners seem to be involved in environmental efforts around Todos Santos, as opposed to just wanting to squeeze the most money possible from their property. But that is just an impression.

We had a beautiful ocean view from our room, with a spectacular sunset. The room was very clean, pleasantly decorated, well appointed, and roomy. There is a small fridge and a microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The water is safe to drink.

The neighborhood seemed a little questionable. There are dogs everywhere and there is no way to tell if they are friendly. (the dogs that live at the property are friendly). It is a bit of a walk through the neighborhood to the beach. I was only there for 2 nights so did not try it. The bed was hard, so we didn't sleep well.

We received a very friendly welcome by the manager/host - and some of the resident dogs. Between our friends and ourselves we rented two casitas and a house. All were very comfortable, clean, unique and picturesque. The friendly service continued through breakfast and help with taxis and suggestions. The water in entire property is filtered, so tap water is good to drink. Weather was nice (May), and it cooled down nicely at night, but the air conditioning also worked very well. We had the window open at night, though, and heard only the ocean.

Access to the hotel is via multiple unmarked and uneven dirt roads in sometimes dilapidated state. There are no signs and no lights, and it is very dusty. We were glad we had an SUV. The ocean is not for swimming.

I really love everything about the place. The views are even more beautiful than described, and the whole property features the work of great local artists in a variety of mediums. The rooms are quite comfortable, very well thought out and have extremely comfortable beds and pillows. I particularly like all the sustainability measures that the property is taking, and the owners are leaders in the local zero waste movement. I love staying at Los Colibris!

It is a beautiful property. The room was spacious, the views outstanding, and the staff very welcoming. The pool was delightful because it was very hot out. We did not pay for the breakfast, so I cannot speak to that.

The room could have used a few more outlets (most were behind the beds). Our coffee maker didn't work. The location is good in terms of views, but it's a little bit out of town and a 25-minute walk to the non-swimming beach. We did not do the walk (too hot), so I cannot say more about whether or not it is worth it.

We absolutely adored our time at Los Colibris. From the moment we arrived and had a wonderful private dinner on the balcony prepared by the most kind and attentive chef we knew we were onto a winner. The compassion and care that Sergio, Bryan and the whole team have for animals and nature was very aligned to our own values. They made special vegan dishes for my husband, had proper recycling facilities, and impressive reading materials surrounding their efforts in conservation and supporting the community. This, paired with the many incredibly friendly dogs and cats on site who we fell in love with, especially Suri, plus the incredible views where we saw so many whales playing and manta rays dancing, made this the unexpected hidden gem and highlight of our honeymoon. We didn’t have a car and so we often walked to and from town (an easy, if dusty, 30 mins) and got taxis in the evening which were fairly reasonable. It was hard to drag ourselves away from the views from the terrace over the lagoon and to the ocean, but the town of todos santos is wonderful, friendly and beautiful. Los Colibris also is Ia slightly rocky but straight forward ten mins to the beach to get closer to the marine life action, and not long to walk to a nearby beach club if that’s your thing. Sorry for the very long review but we just really thoroughly enjoyed our time here and we were sad to leave. All the staff were so friendly and lovely and our room was comfortable and clean. This is a must stay for any nature lovers who care about the environment.

Beautiful location, attentive staff.

We chose a room with a balcony instead of a ground level room so we coukd leave the doors open at night to get fresh air and listen to ocean sounds; but there were no screens on the doors to keep out bugs. Window did have a screen but opened up above where the dogs slept below, and they could be a little noisy…but we love dogs so it was OK.

Great place with wonderful owners and a great stay. Thoughtful amenities like beach towels and umbrella. Nice sheets and bedding. Good little breakfast cafe. If traveling with a group, I probably would also coordinate a dinner there too to take advantage of sunset view from pool. Cannot walk to Todos town easily. Cabs are $200MX each way, cash, and have to be called so plan accordingly or rent a car and it’s about 15 mins drive. Walking beach access is rocky so water shoes with rubber soles very useful. Beach Club & San Cristobel hotel are a bit of a walk on beach but recommended for lunch/early dinner if you are without car or don’t want to deal with the dusty roads. Similar pricing to the better places in town and they have better food.

We were in the king suite down below and I loved everything about it - super comfy with beautiful views. Breakfast was offered at an additional cost. A ten minute walk put you on the beautiful beach below.

Parking was a challenge every time we moved our car to go into town. For the price we paid I felt breakfast should’ve been included especially since there aren’t any alternate options close by. The owner, tho helpful, could’ve been more hospitable… I understand he’s been doing this for over 20 years but he needs to remember it’s a first and a dream for most of us.

Los Casitas is a beautiful property perched up on a hill in Todos Santos. We had a lovely casita facing the ocean with outdoor seating. They have a lovely pool to relax and watch the sunset. They have a lovely dining area where you can get breakfast. You need to notify them in advance if you would like other meals prepared. They offer cooking classes too. We went on a historical downtown tour with the owner Sergio and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend it! Bryan who is Sergio's wife, is so helpful, whether it be scheduling some trips or meals outside of breakfast. The sunsets from your room or the pool are gorgeous! We would be back every evening to just watch the sunsets. The beach is a 20 min walk from the property. Its beautiful beach with hardly anyone there so you can take a walk or just chill on the beach and read. The Casita comes with a beach umbrella and chair for your use. It feels like a home away from home...and I will definitely be back. Great place to unwind and soak in some local culture

The roads leading up to the hotel are dirt roads and also due to the construction quite rocky...we had a sedan car and it worked out fine. But if you plan to drive to other locations, would recommend getting an SUV car so its more pleasurable. The high ways are beautiful, its just once you get into town its dirt road roads....this is the beauty of Baja California ...just wish i had done a little more research so we were more prepared.
