Pool was great. they have large pool and you could order food from pool, but they have limit drink option. they only have beer from the pool. you can not order frozen drink or cocktail from the pool. Hotel location is great. you could walk to most of places you need from this hotel. it is next to large mall. you have access to many large and small supermarket. walkable to many different restaurants and stores. They are only few blocks away. you could walk to central from this hotel, but hotel is far enough that you don't have to deal with bad side of central environment. you could get taxi easily from the hotel, night and day. Cucuta does not have major public transportation like bogota or Medellin, but they have many microbus transporting people in cucuta. and most of this microbus stop at the mall next to the hotel. I felt hotel area is safe enough to walk around at night time. Check-in and Check-out was quick.

because hotel is next to one of the biggest mall in cucuta. traffic can be very bad in this area. sometime walking is faster than taking taxi. this is old hotel and you could definitely see and feel the age of the hotel. sometime hotel elevator stop working. some room refrigerator does not work. My room had hot-tub but it was not hot. it was barely feel warm. I wish they could clean the pool more frequently. pool water always seems dirty. breakfast is very bad here. they have very limit option and almost everything run out. some of the hotel restaurant food is okay but some food are just terrible.

Check in and check out was quick. staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and big and bed was comfortable. They have many outlet for all the electric to be plug in. cleaning staff was great. they have very nice big pool. service around the pool was good. Hotel is nearby mall so you could get anything you need from the Mall. You are walking distance to most of good restaurants. location of hotel seems to be safe as we walking around nearby Hotel at night without much problem. even with limited service hotel offer, it is one of the nice hotel you could stay in Cucuta.

Bathroom was small, very limited option from restaurant and pool area service. Hotel looks very old need to be updated. refrigerator in the room does not work. Wifi did not work in my room or very limited signal from my room. Breakfast was very bad. they almost have nothing. We went to McDonald for breakfast whole time was there. Pool hour was little short they close pool around 6pm. Hot weather in cucuta, hotel should open pool until later at night. other hotel's pool open until 8 or 10pm.

The popular saying that it is not because of the devil but because of old is what applies to this hotel. Everything works perfectly, they are not the newest facilities or the most striking but without a doubt it has everything that no other hotel in cucuta has. Excellent staff, excellent location, excellent services.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about, everything in the hotel works perfectly.

The elevator seems a little dated and the rooms didn't offer drinking water.
