The staff was just fantastic! I'm cordial, but generally not an overly chatty person with people I don't know, but Debbie and Richard were like old friends. Richard is just amazing. Walking into the dining room each morning he would IMMEDIATELY ask "How do you want your eggs dear?" He goes out of his way to make sure you're fed well, especially the kids. He truly makes you feel like you're sitting in his home kitchen. Breakfast choices were great and the food always fresh and hot. And Debbie. Such a sweet lady who despite being so busy at times of the days never failed to acknowledge you and greet you with a smile, even going so far as to wave hi when she was on the phone. I really enjoyed our brief chats at the coffee station and the conversation while sitting in the lobby chairs. I have NEVER felt more welcomed and appreciated at a hotel. I was shocked to hear she was relatively new because to see her work you would think she had been there for years. :-) Even the regional manager was polite and immediately followed up on a vm I had reached when calling the hotel prior to our stay. Great job guys! :-)

Our room was very clean for sure, but it did have a bit of a funky smell. Could have just been our room specifically for some reason, but whatever the smell, it wasn't offensive enough to request a different room. And, I always travel with Febreeze anyway. :-) Lights on at the pool and brighter hallways would be nice but I'm not complaining. We had a very nice stay!

Richard & Debbie are amazing people. They are the reason we will choose this hotel on our next trip to Richmond! The breakfast pool, hotub and rooms were all great!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our experience at Baymont in Richmond, Indiana was fantastic thanks to the incredible staff—especially Richard and Debbie! Their hospitality and customer service were truly top-notch. They went above and beyond to make sure our group, including both adults and kids, felt welcomed and had an amazing time. Richard and Debbie are the kind of people who make you want to come back. Friendly, attentive, and just genuinely good people. And let’s not forget the breakfast—absolutely delicious! Huge shoutout to the maintenance guy as well—he quickly replaced our fridge without any hassle when it wasn’t cooling properly. That kind of quick service really made a difference. The staff we encountered were exceptional. Specifically, Debbie at the front desk was very friendly and thorough with each customer checking in ahead of us and with us. Richard in the breakfast room was such a happy guy and so helpful. He really made our day! He literally offered to make us fried eggs, what hotel gives such personal attention? The stay was a great all around value including comfort, cleanliness, and great people.

There really was nothing that needed fixing.

The gentleman at the front desk made our whole stay! We checked in around midnight, there was a group of drunk women that come in before us. They were loud and trying to go to the bar, when they realized there was no Uber they went to their room. We asked the gentleman when he was checking us in if are room happened to be by theres. Cause we were tired and wanted to go to sleep and not risk them being kept us by them being loud. He checked and said yes unfortunately. Then without us asked he looked to see if there were other rooms open and he moved us to the other side of the building! We had a good laugh about it but really appreciate it! He cared about our stay and it was our favorite part about our stay!

Nothing everything was good

We needed a place to crash since my dad was in the hospital and we drove in from 4 hours away. So although the facility is kind of showing its age the excellent service and friendly staff made up for that. We chose this location since it was closest to the hospital but were persuaded by the positive feedback on the breakfast and staff. Hot tub was great after a stressful day in ICU. At breakfast Rich the cook made eggs to order for my husband who said they were the best he'd had in a long time.

The building itself is dated. The door at the end the hall leading outside was only locked over night, not 24-7 keyed entrance. Our room door had only the deadbolt lock and the door kind of stuck and was tricky to lock. Other than that it was neat, clean and comfortable. Nice big bathroom, well set up for accessibility and safety.

Everything About My Experience Was Tremendously Awsome. The Room And All The Amenities. The Continental Breakfast Was Great And Plentiful But Richard Was The One Who Brought It All Together With His Charm And Cooking Eggs Anyway You Wanted, He Is A Keeper, Your Front Desk Staff Lori Was So Kind And Helpful With Information And Fresh Baked Cookies, She Is A Keeper As Well. I Will Stay Again When I Come Back Through Richmond.

I Can't Think Of A Thing Except That I Didn't Bring My Swim Suit, As Your Heated Pool Was So Inviting As I Watched A Family Of 4 Enjoying And Having A Good Time. I'll Bring My Suit Next Time.

This place was a great deal and we are glad for a short, clean stay. One of our favorite parts was the breakfast server Richard. He was very friendly and helpful, you can tell he cares and made sure everybody was happy with their breakfast!!

For those interested: Some of the things here are older and a little outdated, like some worn chairs and floors, but everything was clean and nice so we really have no complaints! It was a great value and we would stay again if we’re in the area!

The rooms were recently renovated. The shower is AMAZING! The water pressure was great, the shower head has waterfall, jets, hand held, and jets on the chest and upper thighs. It is great! The hotel is right off of I-70, easy to get back on for traveling. I have stayed here before for the convenience, but now I can add in excellent rooms!

The breakfast host was friendly, had a great smile and attitude-made early morning easier. Liked the breakfast host fixing special items for us. Eggs and bacon. Greeting us and saying have a great trip.

Room looked tired and over used. Chipped or scratched - needed to be replaced. Very small bathroom made because door would not open due to curved shower curtain rod. Thin towels. Not enough.

They are redoing some of the rooms but it didn't impact us at all. It was nice and quiet being off I-70 we were surprised at that. It had a real nice bathroom with a walk-inn shower and lots of light. Very clean and the bed (king) was really comfortable. The breakfast was good especially the eggs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay.

No elevator but it's only 2 floors up.
