It was a pleasant hotel in a super cute town. It felt very safe and the town had a lovely park area we spent some time with our kids at. It was a much needed break on our road trip! The price was amazing probably the best value we’ve ever gotten for a single night stay. The room was just right for what we needed.

The amenities were all closed due to maintenance. I assume that had something to do with the bargain price. In our case it worked okay we didn’t need to utilize them but had wanted to use the pool. The only other thing was that the comforter was definitely not clean. There were some stains on it. However, the rest of the room looked and smelled clean. The sheets underneath looked clean with no issue so I didn’t see the need to cause a fuss.

Clean and affordable. The breakfast is pretty simple which is fine by me. I’ve been coming to this hotel off and on for a long time now and have not been dissatisfied. Rooms are clean and quiet. It’s also on the side of Richmond that’s active with stores and restaurants.

Not really nothing to dislike about. They’re in the middle of upgrading the hotel so they’re working on updating the rooms and stuff. The pool is still closed but you’re told all of that before you come there.

Everything. Every time I drive up to Richmond, this place has been like my go to spot for about 4 years. the rooms are nice size and comfortable. The price is great. The rooms are clean. I’ve never had a bad experience with staff. The morning breakfast is good. simple but good. My recent stay there I was put on the 4th floor. They are currently remodeling the property but there was no noise at all. I will continue to make this my goto place to stay when I come up.

I have nothing bad to say

We were the first room at the top of the half staircase. I was initially concerned there would be a lot of noise from guest traffic needing to get to their rooms, but the hotel was well-built and there was no discernible noise from the hallway.

Breakfast coffee choice was limited, though fresh.

The breakfast was ok. Wish for a little different fruit than just apples and oranges. Bananas would have been nice. But overall ok.

There was no fan in the bathroom. The door to bathroom won’t shut. Mildew damage on the walls and ceiling tiles not laying good. Grout was black as me needed good cleaning. But I understand remodeling so hope that will all be addressed

Awesome awesome awesome bang for your buck! Clearly, off season but this was a high quality room!

Parking lot. Seriously? Dangerous walk up and down hill through ice and snow to your car. NOT safe! Who was in charge of the bull dozers? Probably too late to be fixed, but it really sucks!

The girl at the front desk did what she could to help.

Housekeeping wasn't finished cleaning two rooms that we were sent up to -- doors were open and linen laying on the floor.

Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We were at the end of the hallway so it was super quiet. Check in was smooth. Breakfast was good with a few exceptions. Have stayed here before and will stay again.

Breakfast could have used some protein and cereals were all kiddy cereal. No fiber.

It was a good bargain for a getaway.

Breakfast rules are ridiculous. The sliding door wouldn’t open and you physically had to slide the glass door to get into the building.
