The gentleman at the front desk made our whole stay! We checked in around midnight, there was a group of drunk women that come in before us. They were loud and trying to go to the bar, when they realized there was no Uber they went to their room. We asked the gentleman when he was checking us in if are room happened to be by theres. Cause we were tired and wanted to go to sleep and not risk them being kept us by them being loud. He checked and said yes unfortunately. Then without us asked he looked to see if there were other rooms open and he moved us to the other side of the building! We had a good laugh about it but really appreciate it! He cared about our stay and it was our favorite part about our stay!

Nothing everything was good

We needed a place to crash since my dad was in the hospital and we drove in from 4 hours away. So although the facility is kind of showing its age the excellent service and friendly staff made up for that. We chose this location since it was closest to the hospital but were persuaded by the positive feedback on the breakfast and staff. Hot tub was great after a stressful day in ICU. At breakfast Rich the cook made eggs to order for my husband who said they were the best he'd had in a long time.

The building itself is dated. The door at the end the hall leading outside was only locked over night, not 24-7 keyed entrance. Our room door had only the deadbolt lock and the door kind of stuck and was tricky to lock. Other than that it was neat, clean and comfortable. Nice big bathroom, well set up for accessibility and safety.

Everything About My Experience Was Tremendously Awsome. The Room And All The Amenities. The Continental Breakfast Was Great And Plentiful But Richard Was The One Who Brought It All Together With His Charm And Cooking Eggs Anyway You Wanted, He Is A Keeper, Your Front Desk Staff Lori Was So Kind And Helpful With Information And Fresh Baked Cookies, She Is A Keeper As Well. I Will Stay Again When I Come Back Through Richmond.

I Can't Think Of A Thing Except That I Didn't Bring My Swim Suit, As Your Heated Pool Was So Inviting As I Watched A Family Of 4 Enjoying And Having A Good Time. I'll Bring My Suit Next Time.

Everything was great! Embarrassed now that I forgot his name, but the man working the breakfast was so sweet. He actually offered, and cooked two eggs for me fresh, even though there were scrambled in the serving line. We were pretty close to the end of breakfast service, so he may have figured they were getting kind of dry. Overall, very happy. Would stay again next time we drive through.

The gentleman that served breakfast(Richard) was awesome! He was very attentive to all guest and made each of us feel important! He is definitely an asset to your hotel. The staff was friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little outdated. My family and I stayed here about 3 years ago. We had a very bad experience and I refuse to come back. After reading some of you recent reviews I decided to give you another chance and I am glad I did. We visit Richmond about 2 times a year and will be staying here again.

Hot tub was not working.

Friendly staff, fresh cookies and coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby. The breakfast was good. Richard makes your eggs to order. :)The fitness room was a nice surprise. Nothing too fancy but enough to keep you in the game! My room was recently updated and very comfortable and clean. Despite facing the interstate, it was not that noisy.

The curtains could be better for blocking the outside light.

Reasonably priced, good value for the price. Mostly clean, some areas missed. Breakfast was a good value, with variety and served at correct temps. Beds comfortable.

Entrance lock for side door where we entered from the outside to get to our room was broken, looked like it had been so for a long time—was all taped over—definite security risk.

Older property needed a bit more attention... Blackout curtains had several holes in it Carpet at room entry way was shredded and needed a new section of carpet pieced in for repair. Two floor hotel, without elevator...stairs were 17 steps with a landing in middle, so not a bad climb Still clean and comfortable with friendly staff

One of the nicest rooms we have had in a long time. Very clean. Nice firm mattress. We arrived late at night during extremely cold weather. The staff had our room nice and warm. There was a Bob Evan’s within walking distance for a late meal too. Next morning there was a lady that brought in real fresh eggs and prepared them for breakfast. Very reasonable price too!

Amazing breakfast! The gentleman who ran breakfast went above and beyond to make sure everything was covered & that you were welcomed!

Refrigerator was noisy in one of the 2 rooms we had. Unplugged it the second night in order to sleep better. Tv/cable also didn't work in that room. The other room didn't have any issues. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights.
