Super friendly staff. We wanted to eat lunch at the Schlosskeller and the weather was beautiful. We asked to sit and eat outside and were told it's closed due to season. We were really sad and tried to convince the staff. At the end they agreed and we had a wonderful lunch outside. I am sure we got the staff into an uncomfortable situation, nevertheless they reacted professional and made us happy. That's was definitely 5 star hotel behavior. The castle is impressive. Modern elements melting into the old architecture were executed amazingly. The food at the Schlosskeller Restaurant was amazing.

There is no coffee machine in the room, neither tea bags or similar. We were missing that. 17 Euros for a cocktail seemed a bit overpriced.

It’s an ideal retreat for those seeking a few days of complete relaxation. My partner and I originally planned to stay just one night, but we couldn’t resist extending our visit. We wanted more time to indulge in the luxurious spa, take a dip in the inviting pool, and savor the exquisite dishes crafted by the castle’s talented chef. The common areas also added to the charm, especially the cozy fireplace lounge—perfect for unwinding with a drink after dinner while admiring the stunning frescoes and intricate wooden reliefs. A special thanks to Yanks Keita, who welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel truly at home from the very start. We will most certainly be back in the summer! Until next time!

Amazing locale. Great aspects. Pool area fantastic. Good but expensive breakfast. Lovely grounds for walking and jogging. Great staff especially Yanks who went out of his way on a day off to help with a car issue re Umwelt plackette. Fantastic. Nice little stube next door called Birdie which is good for beer.

Not overly child friendly. Needs a gym. Whilst we booked a suite it was small and we lost a room to where our daughter slept and didn’t realise we were going to be charged Eur 40 a day for the use the sofa bed for her. I’d say an experience and somewhere for a weekend but not a week. I’m told the golf is good but we witnessed some heavy rain and the courses were flooded. Grounds of the hotel were covered in mud which meant morning jog a bit tricky.

The breakfast was wonderful. The castle is beautiful. There is a true botanical garden and the staff sang for my son's birthday. We enjoyed the the piano and the spa.

Meals could improve; all though specialty dinners are offered; there should also be hearty and less fancy meals.

Beautiful location, bright modern rooms in the tithe barn. We only stayed a night but it would be a wonderful place to stay for a few days.

Very beautiful grounds, calming environment. Very clean, very kind staff. Loved the fireplace in the large knights room. Food is good but not exceptional. Cake was a treat though.

The temperature of the pool was too cold. We did not like the seperate duvets on the bed, one big would have been more comfortable.
