I liked everything. Breakfast was fantastic. Patio was wonderful. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio and watching the freighters come and go. Was supposed to be a trip with my husband. He passed away 4 months ago unexpectedly, so brought my daughter. Almost canceled, but am so happy I didn't.

I wanted a water view, 2 beds, and a walk in shower. I was unable to get the walk in shower. But, your staff provided me a stool to sit on. I did appreciate it. I would of wanted extra towels, but I didn't want to ask, I could see they were busy. And the hot tub was so hot. I needed help to get out. I also wish breakfast could of been a half hour longer lol.

The front desk associate was delightful and helpful. The restaurant staff were also pleasant and accommodating. Our room was neat and well-appointed.

We pre-paid for breakfast, but it was not clear that this meant we could only choose items from the buffet. I was more interested in a simple breakfast of avocado toast (that was much cheaper than the cost of the pre-paid breakfast). I would suggest that those purchasing the pre-paid breakfast be made aware that the price is only for the buffet for the sake of "clarity" as many items on the breakfast menu are cheaper than the cost of the pre-paid breakfast and delicious too.

Great breakfast buffet with everything you could possibly want. Great coffee. All available from 6am to 10 am. Lovely views of river as you are eating meals and plenty of room between tables for a nice feeling of privacy as you talk. There is a very well stocked gift shop to buy some souvenirs and gifts and everyone was so friendly here. We were greeted by every worker as we went around the hotel. Also had a balcony, so we sat out in the evening and enjoyed the river views.

Everyone was very polite courteous smiling all the time. I stay there 4 or 5 times a year with your hotel. Makes a great place for a getaway from stress of operating my clothing store. We love eating at Freighters restaurant on your grounds. Makes eating very convenient for us. Food is always so good. We are boatnerds love watching our freighters go by there as we eat our food.

view beautiful! great to have a bar and food for back up if your day did not go as planned. Staff at these facilities were very friendly and cordial. There did seem to be a problem with the television reception. It would be on and then screen go black, but still hear the announcers or program. then after a period of time it would come back. Overall I would go again here. Very relaxing.

I have stayed at the Double Tree in Port Huron twice in the last 3 months and have booked a return trip for Labor Day weekend. I love this this hotel. It has an amazing workout center and a beautiful pool and best of all a great Hot Tub!

I'd prefer the pool area to have larger towels. It's hard to dry off with hand towel sized towels. The towels look like the bar towels I get for my bar. They have the same blue strip even!

View was fantastic. Nice staff. Always wanted to stay at the "Edison Inn" which is the name I prefer. Facility was clean.

Bisquits and gravy from the menu was disappointing as the gravy was tasteless, the bisquit was flat, and the eggs tasted fake and should have been on the side rather than on the gravy.

Extremely quiet. Spacious room with 2 queen beds. Very clean and comfy beds. Loved the Crabtree and Evelyn products in the bathroom.

We received passes for a free breakfast under our door this morning, but no where did it say breakfast ended before 10am, which was when we were there. Disappointing. Hoping they put the hours on the cards for future guests.

Cleanliness of the room. The staff was helpful and the restaurant was wonderful.

Disappointed that there were no benches or chairs outside to enjoy views of the water. The only outdoor seating was for the restaurant or the reception area which was being used for wedding parties. The hotel was difficult to get to and did not have signs to assist traveling guests.

I typically use the DoubleTree during business trips in the region. This time I stayed for vacation. The location of the hotel is outstanding. We received a room with a perfect view towards the St. Clairs river and lake Huron. There are walkways along the river which we used in the morning. The gym and the indoor pool area offers a lot of oportunities to excercise.

The price of the hotel is quite high compared to other accomodations in the region. But the view and service offered by the hotel compensate the higher price.
