Perfect stay in La Malbaie. The staff is charming and very helpful. The building is a bit older, but that contributes positively to the overall atmosphere. The accommodation is on the street, which guarantees good accessibility. We did not find the street too noisy. We found the location very good. Overall, many restaurants in the area are within easy reach and the surroundings invite you to take a walk along the shore. The breakfast was fantastic. It was freshly prepared every morning. For us it was better than any buffet - but you shouldn't expect a standard breakfast here.

Wifi is unfortunately not very stable.

Although close to the road, the property also offers a great view of the St-Laurent river. It is also close to several restaurants and shops. A walk by the shore is a must. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally good every morning. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

In case you are a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs, as the road is close by and as the house is not that isolated, the doors and floors creaking might disturb your sleep. Despite that, it was not a bad experience for me as I was prepared.

Located directly opposite the river, this was a wonderful place to stay. Amelie and her family who run the Auberge are extremely welcoming and helpful. The view of the river from our room and from our table in the dining room was delightful. We had an excellent meal in the dining room, a six-course tasting menu. And the breakfast, which is included in the tariff, was a bonus.

The location is excellent. The dining room faces the St. Lawrence - gorgeous view! The staff is friendly and welcoming at all times. Breakfasts are fresh and the evening restaurant is very good and very reasonable.

Our room was very tiny although it had a charming little balcony which we used when it wasn't raining. The bathroom was SO tiny. I couldn't even straighten out my elbows. Not for anyone over size medium.

We had the the tasting menu at the Auberge for dinner and it was one of our favorite meals on our trip! The breakfast was also delicious! We had the attic room, bumped out heads a few times but the water view was nice and the bed is comfortable:)

Staff were terrific…very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. We didn’t eat dinner there but it looked and smelled so good I wish we had.

Didn’t have a shower but that was my fault…. I didn’t request a room with a shower

Breakfasts were varied and all delicious, beautifully plated! View from the breakfast room is spectacular The family who run the B&B are very friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious dinner for our 50th anniversary in their beautiful dining room.

Only draw back for some people would be the stairs to the third floor but we were fine.

Lovely rustic house with water view. Good location for restaurants and walks. Friendly hosts. Great breakfasts and lovely view from breakfast room! Quiet, comfortable bedrooms with clean ensuite bathrooms.

Spa tub in one room instead of a shower.

The staff really are the heart of this place. The food was excellent as well.

The rooms were a bit hot and since we had to keep the curtains open to get fresh air, we were up early. That did give us extra time to explore the area.

So many outstanding items. The food was incredibly delicious, the staff outstanding. Felix the chef outdid himself and Alex, our waiter, so efficient, entertaining and charming. Lydia brightened each mornings superb breakfast as she served us. The room (2) was spacious and airy and had a gorgeous view of the St Lawrence. There was no noise from other rooms or toilets flushing.

There was street noise during the day which couldn’t be helped due to the location. It was an unusually hot two days but the fan helped us to sleep. Air conditioning would have been nice but the heat was unusual and ac would be costly.
