We had an excellent overnight stay at Domaine de Bersaillin and cannot recommend it highly enough. We booked the family room, which is more like a suite of 2 rooms and is absolutely ideal for large families. In particular, the beds were super comfy, the shower was incredible and everywhere was immaculately clean. The hotel is designed and maintained to a very high standard and makes for a very special, comfortable stay. We enjoyed a delightful evening meal in the restaurant, which exceeded our expectations (although a simple, vegetarian option for the children would be a great addition). Breakfast was equally great. The kids really enjoyed the garden and the games room, and we can only imagine how lovely the pool must be in the summertime! Thank you for a very relaxed stay - we would rate you 5 stars with the added bonus of being very welcoming to children and not at all pretentious!

A beautiful location handy for the road to Geneva/Mont Blanc. Welcoming owners and staff. A very nice evening meal in their restaurant and very good breakfast. Pretty well kept garden. Ideal for our visit with our small dog. We highly recommend.

The food at the restaurant is FANTASTIC and it’s super good value for money The couple bought an abandoned barn and renovated the place. They did a fantastic job to reserve a building with history. They have chicken on site and they buy food locally. There are also trampoline, ball games and board games — great for children.

The light in the room is funny as it changes colour every time you switch it off and on again. The lighting also makes the room looks dim and grim… not flattering.

The hotel was a really nice find. The building had so much character, from games rooms to open planned living room / dining room. It clearly has so much history associated with it and the owners have done a very good job in maintaining its quality. The rooms were spacious, the bed comfy and the shower was exceptional. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening dinner was a culinary delight. The chef is extremely talented. I was looking forward to a lovely meal and boy did I get one.

It’s a happy place with a relaxed and warm atmosphere. The food was delicious, clearly above expectations. And the garden was really nice with a charming countryside feeling.

Lovely building set in very lush garden with fine trees surrounding the swimming pool. Good places to sit outside. Very tranquil. Easy from the motorway. Good dinner at tables outside.

The hotel is in a very nice old building with a beautiful garden in the perfect location close to the highway. Despite the location, it is very quiet. The pool is at a good temperature to enjoy the sun and read a book, and the (very nice and hardworking) owners offered something to drink every now and then! The best part for us was the dinner which was served outside in the garden and of true restaurant quality. Finally, we would like to give some bonus points to the very sweet golden retriever Oslo. Very nicely renovated old building. Easy access and parking. We've loved dinner on the terrace with the tasty local wine. The food in the restaurant was really excellent, including a great selection of local cheese.

Nice spot in a hamlet by a river, large yard, exceptionally nice owners live downstairs. 2 good size bedrooms, large sitting dinning room, large balcony, very near Bozel. Good access to several ski areas.
