Fantastic swimming pools. The whole site is beautifully landscaped. We loved watching the sun set over the sea with palm trees silhouetted, whilst drinking cocktails. The food was very good but we were there in October half term & it was less than half full so the themed restaurants were closed.

It’s not the best place to stay if you want to explore the island as to get anywhere you have to go 15 minutes up a mountain with tight switch backs. There’s not much around it apart from banana plantations. It does however get the sun when the rest of the island has cloud!

The hotel itself is very very pretty. The gym is very well equipped, the spa thoughtfully done, restaurants spacious and luminous, wonderful ocean views.

The furniture in the room could be updated, the good was ok but it wasn’t great in terms of flavor and cooking (tuna and chicken overdone, shrimp not clean), although the variety was fantastic. Something that was truly a turn down was that one of the pools was supposed to be heated but when we asked we were told that since it was sunny the wouldn’t heat it up, NO one was using any of the pools because the water was still very cold. coming to this kind of hotel and not being able to swim in the pool is just…unacceptable.

A very good choice and laid out well so that there was space for everyone to take what they wanted.

Some items had run out by the time I came to breakfast, which was not that late, e.g. honeycomb and the dark breads. Occasionally I left items of food on my table while I went to get a drink or more bread and the staff cleared it away thinking I had finished with it, e.g. honeycomb! The waiting staff were very efficient but in these instances, too efficient!

Great heated pool. Very good breakfast. Nice stuff. Amazing sunset view. Very friendly animators. Nice wellness.

Please, please don’t call the call at 6PM “yoga”. It’s not a bad class, but it has absolutely nothing to do with yoga (I guess the teacher were never at any yoga class). Just call it stretching, or something - it confuses people, espetially those who try this as their first “yoga” class.

Tremendous facilities in a very comfortable resort-like complex. The food was remarkably varied and good. The pools are the best I have ever seen. We had the luxury of a double apartment 'suite' which provided lots of room. Happily, the quality of the accommodation was excellent.

The main issue is that the resort is quite isolated. If you want to get around you need a car. There is effectively no sea bathing within walking distance.

I loved the location. The resort itself is lovely and the views out over the sea are beautiful. The rocky coastline and the fierce waves are dramatic. The room we had was very comfortable, it was spacious and well equipped and when we opened our balcony doors we could hear the roar of the ocean. The gym was great and it was brilliant to have that included as well. The pool was nice, and the pools look lovely, although as we went in Jan, we only swam in the heated pool. This seemed to be the preference of most of the guests, which meant that during our stay, the majority of the pools were virtually empty with the heated pool being quite busy. However, that said, I imagine it is probably very energy expensive to heat the other pools, and I'm sure this isn't the case in other months, so it's not a huge deal. As for the food and drink. We went all inclusive, it was our first time trying the world of all inclusive so I don't have a great frame of reference. It was a pretty amazing and slightly shocking experience, just the infinite consumption of it all, but I enjoy gorging myself so generally it was great. It was all buffets. There was certainly no shortage of food and while none of it was exceptional most of it was good which is no mean feat considering the quantity and the choice provided.

The food was an enormous buffet with many, many, options. However, some of the food (especially the vegetables) felt pretty overcooked (which I guess might be hard to avoid with a buffet style dinner). There wasn't always a great amount of choice for vegetarians (the salad bar was excellent, there were always enough vegetables on offer, but there were almost no meat alternatives). The wine on tap in the main restaurant tasted a bit watered down and the coffee machines (which dispensed most of the coffee on the resort) made coffee that tasted very sweet (I think it must be the long life milk they use).

Very nice and spacious room. Very nice staff. Very nice and well kept outdoor areas.

The food court was too crowded, we had too wait in long lines to get inside. On the last day, we didn't manage to get breakfast because it was too crowded in the main food court. The evening program was a bit limited.

Beautiful hotel, clean, the pool is great, nice location. Tasty grilled fish and meat, the bars were good.

Only 2 restaurants, at the night only one is open, buffet style, that was kind of boring. The chinese food was bad, and if I want chinese I go to a buffet at my home country. Programmes only inside, the pool bar closed before closing time, the disco for the adults was cancelled.

Food, pools, rooms, romantic atmosphere. The ocean is fabulous (and a bit terrifying too). Good for kids.

Annoying pieces of paper that we had to sign each dinner. We didn't want to order anything and yet had to always carry them around. Ridiculous policies such as signing some random yellow paper only in front of reception.

The pool area is truly resort-like, and the views from the room were fantastic! The entertainment from the animation team, I especially enjoyed the aqua fitness! The restaurant the mirador is quieter and has nice views

The bed was not comfortable, the mess with serving the drinks for paying customers (half-board customers have to pay for drinks separately) The hotel is located very remote, there is nothing else in the area beside a diving company on top of the hotel. It is perfect for an all-inclusive stay with good weather. The bathroom is very old fashioned, the shower head is not possible to be moved. There was not any hair conditioner nor body milk, only a dispenser of shampoo and gel combined. If you arrive at night, it is very dark and the signs are very confusing and the colour of the text is not easy to read. They need to clean the window glasses in the restaurant the mirador more often, they were very dirty.
