I was impressed by the atmosphere of the park and the old buildings. The place has a great character and is very beautiful. The trees at the driveway were simply impressive. Everything is clean and nicely made.

While the staff was polite, I had the feeling that I am not being "seen". Just as an example - I chose the place because of the great looking restaurant and calm location, so I was a bit disappointed to find out that the restaurant was fully booked for dinner - but this is my fault. However, the recommendation for a different place to eat was totally irrelevant. They literally sent me to a restaurant located on a parking lot in a shopping mall. Yes, it was an OK restaurant - but not the type of place anyone who have chosen to stay in an old building, surrounded by nature and featuring a gourmand dining would appreciate. There were a few other small things like this which left a bitter taste.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Pre Galoffre and especially loved our mezzanine suite as my son had a special room upstairs all to himself! The breakfast by the pool was spectacular and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The whole place was just lovely and the wall of jasmine outside our window was glorious (and smelled heavenly!) :)

I think some of the rooms have been updated and the bathroom we had should be next in line for the update. It was fine but didn't really match up to the rest of the experience. I also loved that there was a pool...but wish it was a little more in the sun.

Room was perfect and staff were exceptional. A wonderful setting, easy to reach by car. We were very happy with our choice. I would certainly recommend it : )

Breakfast should be a bit richer to be good value. Only very tiny portions of pasteurized eggs, no fresh juice and nothing fresh except for some fruit.

Great breakfast, a good evening meal and a quiet night in a nice room. The staff were friendly and helpful too.

The hotel was not cheap, yet we could not have any choice for our evening meal, as it was a set menu. We liked the starter and the desert, but not the main course. The metal chairs in the dining area are very hard - no cushions!

Our room was beautifully furnished, very clean and the bed very comfortable. It was situated just outside the town in a quiet place. We had a great nights sleep, food was good and price of the hotel was just perfect. Thank you

Little more choice for food would have been good. €35 for set meal each with only one choice but it was good so no complaints there.

Very comfortable beds with wonderful pillows and soft sheets. Charming decor and beautiful grounds with large areas for walking our dogs. The hotel is pet-friendly, with a charge of 15€ per dog. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The apartment layout is odd, with the kitchenette upstairs, along with the twin beds. The master bedroom is downstairs with a small sitting room, an oddly large closet and bathroom. There is another wardrobe in the actual bedroom as well. The layout is not really a problem for a quick overnight, but I could see it being frustrating for longer stays.

The only real complaint is that the bathroom facilities are built for people a bit taller than my 5’3” / 160cm frame. My feet couldn’t reach the floor from the toilet, and washing my face in the sink was a very messy affair. 😄

We stayed 2 nights and found the hotel of high quality with excellent service. It was perfectly located for our needs as we were day-tripping to local sites and could avoid being in downtown Nimes. The real bonus was the excellent on site restaurant for guests only, which provided a different single-option menu every night cooked to perfection. It truly made our stay complete.

Beautiful and nicely redone. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful dinner and breakfast! Great pool. People were so nice!

No bathroom next to the pool, which meant that we had to go to our room to use the bathroom.

Now it is December and it was cold in the room. But we found A/C with hitting mode and after one hour of A/C it was okay. But again for the price (60€) it’s reasonable 🙂

I emailed questions prior to arrival. They were answered quickly and were very helpful. In English! I loved every minute of our stay, the room was small, but heavenly.

Directions! Our phones and Navi did not recognize the address. We had a lot of trouble finding the place in the dark. And it was difficult to decide which hotel to pick because they are next to each other and have similar names.
