Excellent service of the staff of Bleu Mathis. And extremely big and tasty breakfast. A beautiful luxurious resort. We normally don't stay at resorts like this because it is double the price of what we normally pay for any stay in Indonesia, but we got a nice discount since we booked a few days prior to arriving.

There should have been more options for Indonesian food on the menu, since we don't like to eat Italian, Mexican or anything else which is not local when staying in a country where they have such tasty food! Prices are a bit higher for drinks and food than what we are used to in Indonesia.

Stylish and stunning very thoughtfully designed hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were so helpful and kind. Clean and very comfortable cabanas. We loved our stay.

The food at the restaurant wasn’t great quality. The music is quite loud at the restaurant/pool area and the same playlist every day. We would have preferred to listen to the sound of the sea and nature.

Absolutely amazing experience! We had the most unforgettable honeymoon at Blue Mathis! I went there with my wife, and honestly, we couldn't have found a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. The experience was absolutely amazing—far beyond what we expected. The level of professionalism and kindness from the staff was exceptional. We stayed for 6 days in a beautiful room/villa with a private pool. Although the island is quite isolated, the resort truly has everything you could possibly need—whether it's relaxing by the pool, enjoying delicious food, or exploring through the various activities and tours they offer. From the service to the facilities and cuisine, everything was perfect. We would absolutely recommend Blue Mathis!

The beach in front of the resort is looking very nice, but not ideal for swimming. However, staff is always there to arrange you a tour to some of the surrounding islands with amazing underwater world (turtles as well ).

Everything! The rooms were beautifully furnished and the pool area has lots of seating/bean bags/beds to relax on. The staff tried very hard to make sure you had a wonderful stay from greeting us on the beach when we arrived to making sure we didn’t have to carry our luggage anywhere. I would definitely stay again.

The food in the restaurant was a little bit pricey.

To sum it up: our stay was amazing. The organisation perfect, we were picked up and dropped off at Pantai Kores, the transfers were all organised by the staff. We were upgraded the the beachfront plunge villa, which was absolutely magnificent. The sunset views, the bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom gorgeous. We did a snorkelling expedition and went kayaking, which was all possible directly from the hotel. The food and drinks were delicious, floating breakfast, romantic dinner by the beach… Our 4 days went by so quickly. Special thanks to Roby, Takdir and Andre and the rest of the staff for making our stay unforgettable. We would stay here again anytime.

Our stay at Blue Mathis was incredible. The service was simply perfect. Jamal, Yusril, Ezy, and Haris were all so sweet and truly made the difference. Every day, they welcomed us with a big, warm smile and made us feel at home from the very first moment. They were always incredibly attentive to every detail, making sure we had everything we needed, and their kindness and care really made us feel special throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and spotless, with an elegant design and a breathtaking view that we never got tired of. The whole hotel is absolutely charming, with a peaceful and intimate atmosphere, carefully curated spaces, and a real sense of comfort and serenity. They also offer a variety of activities, all really well organized, making it easy to enjoy the best the area has to offer without any stress.

Hotel is in the secluded part of the island so you feel like you have the whole island for yourself. Staff is really friendly.

The hotel has no activities other than chilling, hiking around and snorkelling (paid). The Mathis chain has kind of luxurious attitude so they should stop penny-pinching ( ordered a cake for my moms birthday and requested a candle-candle is extra, please pick us from the other side of the island with the hotels boat- ofc, 50k per person and such)

Bleu Mathis is a superb and human size resort. The decoration is stunning and rooms are comfortable. It worth staying there several days outside de high season. The breakfast is good and very generous As recently open, some equipements are still missing, such parasols...

The restaurant is very good, but expensive compared to local standards. As nothing else in the area, the menu should offer a wider choice for those staying longer than 3 days.

Nice calm accommodation. Stayed for a couple of days and also did snorkeling trips in the surrounding area. Food is tasty and the pool is pretty good. The staff is very helpful and nice. They clean up the rooms up to two times a day and you can ask for e.g. refill as much as you like. The beds are really comfortable. We both booked massages and liked it a lot! You can walk to other parts of the small island and there are also small shops for drinks and snacks if you want.

The air con in the room could have been stronger for our liking. We had the feeling that it did not have enough power to cool the room. There are a lot of dead corals on the beach-wearing shoes is recommended! Also when we visited the island there was a lot of trash in and outside the water. We think it is because of the neighboring islands, like Lombok.

In general, if you are looking for a place far away from people to just chill back and relax. This is the place for you. Place is kept clean. Staff are nice and attentive to your requests. But that is generally all there is to it.

There is a bit of a privacy issue. Although you can lower the shades if someone really wanted to they can see into your room. I was hoping the glass was reflective, but it isn’t. Very important to note as well. This is a hotel on an Island. To get to the island you have to get in a boat. Chances are as you are getting on or off the boat you will 100% get wet. So make sure to wear shorts. Food was Mid. Don’t expect anything crazy good. But overall doesn’t hurt your stomach so in a way that is positive. During our stay a family decided to play fire works next to where we were having dinner. Which I get is cool but it took away from the quietness I would have loved to enjoy there. Please don’t be that person.
