I stayed at this hotel for two weeks while working remotely and traveling, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, including arranging my airport transfer and quickly resolving minor issues with the WiFi and air conditioning. The hotel is well-located in a walkable area with plenty of restaurants, shops, and the lake just a short stroll away. It’s also very affordable and comfortable, which made it a great choice for a longer stay. While the WiFi was occasionally intermittent, between that and a local Nepal data plan, I had no trouble staying connected for daily Zoom meetings while working full time. As a woman traveling alone, I truly appreciated how attentive and kind the staff were throughout my stay. They consistently checked in to make sure everything was okay and that I felt safe and supported. I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers looking for a friendly, convenient, and reliable place to stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Orchid in Pokhara, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The check-in process was seamless. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the city skyline and mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable I enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hotel Orchid to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay in Pokhara. I would definitely return here on my next visit!

Hotel Orchid is a lovely hotel in a very good location. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us. Everything was clean and the breakfast was nice. My only complaints are that my laundry took 3 days, which was most of the time we were in Pokhara, and that the owner was looking over my girlfriends shoulder after asking her to give a Google review and was very persuasive in changing her 4 stars to 5. Beyond this, everything at Hotel Orchid was perfect.

Front desk guy named Ramesh if i am not mistaken,he was very polite and very professional to deal with customer. The room was clean and wifi works perfectly 👍 food was good and choices of breakfast were great . I would definitely recommend it to others . Budget friendly hotel with good smiling staffs . 👍👍 ahhh !!! and the views of snow capped mountains from my room were amazing.

Extremely pleasant stay in Pokhara! Very welcoming staff that will take care of you and help you with all our needs. Hotel in an excellent location, close to the lakeside and to many shops / restaurants, but set back just enough to be really quiet and calm. Very big room with beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and a big balcony from where you can enjoy these views. The room was clean with hot shower and access to very good food and a very good breakfast. We will be back again soon!

Standard room had a picture of a couch but this is the picture of luxury room. Standard room is very basic for the money. We got an upgrade to topfloor luxury room, which was comfortable and with nice view. Breakfast is included and I liked it. They changed a few dishes each other day. (Yoghurt/ muesli, porridge and each day eggs, fruits and potatoes. Friendly and helpfull staff.

Could be a little cleaner.

The hotel manager Vijay was exceptional. We had a most pleasant stay, and we loved the care, flexibility and help we received. Should we find ourselves in Pokhara again, we will definitely stay in Hotel Orchid!

This hotel is ideal for any one wanting a comfortable stay in Pokhara. It is within easy walking distance of Fewa Lake and all its attractions. The hotel staff are very keen to make sure you are happy, especially Ashok and Sugam. The breakfast menu is good and all the food is cooked fresh to your order. The hotel is extremely clean and has a lift to the upper floors. Our room, (402) has a staggering view of the mountains,especially at sunrise.

I personally would have liked mugs or bigger cups in the room because I drink a lot of tea!

Hotel Orchid is very well placed in the Lakeside district of Pokhara with walking access to Lake Phewa, many restaurants and Bars around in close vicinity. We were a group of 12 sr. citizens, all 55+ aged with few pure vegetarians. Hotel owner Mr. Ramesh Aryal, made us very comfortable and provided good breakfast veg & non-veg, as well as dinner when we needed, made arrangements to shift luggage from coach to rooms and vice versa. Mr. Ramesh and the staff were very courteous, supportive and open hearted. He even accommodated us for an extra night at same per night night rate at which we had booked our stay. We were well received, provided space for coach parking. Rooms were very good, well maintained, everything & air-conditioning working very nicely, running hot water and ........ the hotel had an elevator!!! (which is rare in Nepal hotels). Gave us tips for sightseeing.. He was personally present at 5 am when we departed and gave us a packed breakfast to eat on the way.. It was a surprise and a great gesture from him. We had a wonderful stay of 3 nights in Hotel Orchid.

Indian type vegetarian options can be added to breakfast menu. Otherwise, everything fine...

The staff of this hotel is amazing. Very friendly and helping you with every need you might have. The rooms are comfortable and there is an elevator, in case you come back from an intensive trek through the mountains, and have legs of jelly ;) The location is very good, as you'll be lakeside within minutes. Futhermore, you can book various activities at the reception, which makes staying here even more pleasant and easy!
