A very beautiful hotel with a Tuscan feel to it. The breakfast buffet caters for many diets and tastes. The spa treatments are top notch with very well trained staff. I stayed there a couple of times and the comfort of the mattresses varied from cushioned to firm. It's a good place for families, with lots of children playing in the swimming pool. The staff were lovely and friendly (special mention to Hari).

Less use of plastic and a water bottle re-fill station in reception would be great.

Hotel is in an ideal location close to Lake Phewa and the Lakeside shops & restaurants. It's like an oasis with a large pool surrounded by gardens and is very peaceful. The staff in reception were very welcoming and helped us with all our questions. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them at breakfast and dinner. The food was always fresh and delicious.

Everything was perfect. The staff was welcoming, friendly and always there when needed. The location was beautiful, well maintained and super clean. The team and Ram arranged everything for us effortlessly, even when we needed to change already booked plans due to a friend getting sick. Would absolutely visit again whenever I would be back in Pokhara.

Good prpoerty trying to convey the old world charm.

A major flaw. There is something not right with the plumbing and the loo stinks. This despite the best effort by the staff to put dense lemongrass oil to supress the stink. Either the pipes are clogged or if they are using grey water for toilet purposes, the treatment plants do not work well enough. The lurking smell in the loo puts one off. The furniture is designed on antique pattern to keep up with the traditional Nepali rustic theme,but one has to struggle with most cupboards and drawers to open and close. With smelly loo and stuck joineries,somewhere in the balance between form and function, function has taken a back seat. The staff though was a redeeming feature and tried to lessen the pain arising out of these hiccups.

The staff are incredible at this hotel. During my stay my watch strap broke. I asked at reception for directions to a place where the strap could be repaired. Instead one of the reception staff asked if he could take my watch for me. On his day off he went to get the watch fixed which involved sourcing a new part and returned it to me the following day. When I asked how much fro the repair, he refused to take any money from me. Wow! Now that is what I call service and I will tell this story again and again. Every request we made was met with the same kindness.

The hotel is a beautiful oasis in Pokhara. It’s definitely cosy, clean and the staff are all wonderful.

I would say that there are other ‘5*’ hotels in Pokhara that are cheaper than temple free and equally as good if not better so I think temple free should drop their rates a bit as otherwise it will become unpopular if it doesn’t keep up with the other hotels little luxuries. Our room did not get any fresh air as you cannot open the windows - so every time we came back to our room after some time away it was incredibly stuffy. The air con is quite noisy and with the frequent power cuts the air temp goes back to the default of 24 degrees so we did not get the best sleep.

Very responsive at the bar, the drinks were excellent and the food was great. Great location, easy to get into town and walk around. Very close to the lake. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

For breakfast items like pancakes and french toast, it would be good to have maple/pancake syrup (not chocolate syrup) on hand. Just a small thing to note.

The indoor facilities, like the air conditioning, bathtub, and bed, were incredibly comfortable and made my stay so enjoyable. I had a wonderful time with no issues at all!

There were no particular issues, but if I were to mention one, it would be that the TV remote was somewhat unresponsive. It would be great if that could be improved.

Brilliant - all of it! Staff were so nice and friendly. Food, breakfast and room service was excellent. Room and facilities were huge and clean. Pool was really nice and gym area was well equipped. We stayed here for 2 nights after a 10 day trek and it was great to unwind. Partner got a massage and facial and she said it was also brilliant. Great location in lakeside. Great wifi and TV movies to vegetate and unwind after a long trek And we met Nims Dai in the restaurant!

Nothing - it was all brilliant If you are expecting perfect wifi and electricity in Nepal and want to complain about it instead of exploring Pokhara then you have bigger issues in life!

Cozy and pampering hotel with a good atmosphere and personal attention. All our requests were attended to and with a good level of service.The food is excellent and there is variety at breakfast. The hotel's restaurant is open 24 hours and provides world-class dishes at good prices. The hotel is well cleaned and hot water is available 24 hours a day (not obvious in most hotels in Nepal). The location is excellent. Close to the lake side but not on the main road so there is peace and privacy. Overall a good hotel and highly recommended. I would go back there again.
