My friend and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Dorje Resort & Spa in Pokhara for two nights, and from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We were picked up from our previous hotel and warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks – such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. Though we arrived early, the staff graciously allowed us to use the resort’s facilities while our room was being prepared. To our surprise and delight, we were also given a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room, which was absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the team truly went above and beyond to make it special. I walked into our room to find a lovely banner, balloons, and a delicious birthday cake waiting for me — it was such a heartfelt gesture that made my day unforgettable. The food and cocktails at the resort were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a great variety of options to suit every taste. A special shoutout to Tilotama, the supervisor, who made our stay seamless and memorable. She was not only helpful and professional but genuinely kind and attentive, always going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and hospitality made a huge difference and added a personal touch to our experience. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough — from the service to the setting, everything exceeded our expectations. I would love to return in the future.

This property is perhaps the best property in Pokhra. Huge cottages and I highly recommend taking one with the balcony. It’s worth every extra penny for the upgrade. The location is spectacular as it’s right next to the cable car starting point to go to sarangkot (9min ride). We met the owners - Dorje and Jen - wonderful hosts. I have to highlight one of their staff Tilotama - who works at the reception. It’s rare to come across someone who goes so over and above the required responsibilities. She started coordinating with us a day before the arrival and arranged everything for our pickup (which is free from the airport!) to arranging our activities like paragliding and bungee jumping even though we were checking out the next day and all coordination was from the other hotel. Even after our checkout she checked in with us to make sure everything went well and if we needed any other help. This kind of customer service left us completely awed as you don’t get to see the is in 99.99% hotels. Whether one or more nights, highly recommend to include this hotel during your stay at Pokhra. Food could be better.

I've stayed at some of the world's best resorts — Four Seasons, Rosewood, Aman, and I have to say: our stay at Dorje's is up there. I highly, highly recommend it. Frankly, I didn't expect a resort of this quality for my stay in Pokhara. We stayed in a couple of the suites and were treated to a gorgeous view of Pokhara, excellent staff and service, and impeccable vibes. The staff went out of their way to organize events and gatherings for us, i.e. a bonfire and a wedding after party. They catered to every single need we had. My personal favorite was the ice bath, steam and sauna which happened to be somewhat connected to the Dorje's Suite I stayed it. This is an amenity I used daily. My heartfelt gratitude to the manager, Pramod, and Mr. Dorje for building a true oasis in every sense of the word. I hope to come back in a few years.

The small resort is brand new and far exceeded our expectations. The luxury rooms are spacious and full of bells and whistles such as a wonderful bathtub, bar, fridge, counter space, and huge balcony with a view of the lake and the Peace Pagoda. The breakfast was amazing as was the beautiful bar, yoga studio, sound bathing, and spa. Perfect place to soak in a hottube and enjoy the outdoor shower and waterfall pool after a trek. Highly recommend! Great value for the price. In a town where there are several good options for cheaper accommodation Dorje's is worth the splurge. I can't wait to go back!

The beds could be a little softer.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The rooms are nice and spacious, with a large and modern bathroom. The rest of the facilities are very nice and you really feel like in a relaxing resort. The breakfast was varied and delicious. You have something to choose for every taste. Also, the in-house restaurant has a nice selection of dishes and the food was delicious. The staff is very kind and attentive. They help you with whatever you need. Really recommend to stay here if you wanna splurge a bit and relax in style, especially after a trek.

We knew that it was a bit far from Pokhara Lakeside so for us it was no issues. But if you want something closer, you need to search something else. Or take a taxi (it's between 280-700 rupees, depending where they pick you up from).

My stay here was absolutely perfect, the property itself is stunning. The design, views, finishing touches really make this a special stay. Kumar, a huge thank you to you, for going out of your way to ensure I had a smooth stay. Lifts were offered by the property into lakeside, therefore, it was lovely staying outside of the hustle and bustle with the ability to travel into town if required. Dorje, the owner, is incredibly approachable and takes his time to get to know his clients on a personal level. The food was the best I’ve had in Nepal, the staff are incredibly kind, overall what an incredible hotel and experience. Thank you team. Luxury stay, with the nepalese touches and charm.

The resort is the perfect place for relaxation and tranquility. It is beautifully set up on top of a hill with a nice view towards the lake. The facilities are modern, the rooms are spacious with enough storage. It is the perfect place to unwind after a long trek or just to enjoy your time. They have a pool and a jacuzzi outside. Also their spa is very nice so give it a try. The breakfast is variated with lots of western and local options. The food at the restaurant is also delicious and you have multiple options. Even though the proprety is a bit farther from Pokhara Lakeside I think it's worth to stay here for the tranquility it offers. Also, you can have a little walk down to lakeside or take a taxi. Lastly, the staff is so nice and kind and respectful. They will help you with everything you need.

An exceptional property, serene and calm, with excellent attention to detail. It was such a delight to stay here after our trek for a couple of nights recuperation. Loved the beautiful lake views, amazing comfy beds, lovely bath. Staff were very attentive and helpful, food was delicious. Really a top quality hotel - I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if I returned to Pokhara

Nothing - some may say it’s set out of town but I see this as a great bonus to enjoy peace and tranquility.

- Modern, beautiful rooms - Pool area - facilities in general - view to the lake and mountains - friendly staff - value for money - food both at breakfast and dinner in the restaurant - free airport shuttle - massage in the spa - something very unique I want to point out: on our second day of three days we spoke to the owner at breakfast. We said it would be super cool if the breakfast had more fruit choices in the future (note: breakfast was outstanding, this would just be the cherry on top of the cake). Then, the next day for breakfast there were already so many fruits. We were super astonished how the owner immediately implemented our feedback. He said he is very happy about honest feedback and that they strive to continuously improve as they just opened a year ago
