I was caught in awe by the location of the property for its majestic view of the entire Annapurna range and the Machapuchare peak! One really needn’t go anywhere else in Pokhara if looking to indulge in basking under the sight of the Himalayas! Aside from the view, I found the staff to be very hospitable. The food was exceptionally well prepared with care and the shuttle car is a boon for getting to the lakeside (and back!). I look forward to coming back for a stay with my family someday and taking up that offer for a hike! 😊

We love everything about Sunshine Resort. Due to the low season, we were the only guests there for a 2 night stay. We were pampered by the staff. Our needs were all well taken care of and we didn't leave the Resort at all. The breakfast was generous and the food was delicious! We swam and relaxed in the pool facing the Himalayan mountains! The spectacular views were breathtaking, especially when the clouds cleared up and could see the peak of Fishtail and the glaciers on Annapurna mountains. There is a small trail that leads to a river and hanging bridge. A very therapeutic walk. We definitely would love to come back again. I highly recommend this resort for the views and relaxation. Thank you Mr Kiran and his team for making our stay a memorable one.

Our stay at this hotel in Pokhara was nothing short of exceptional! Perched on a serene hilltop surrounded by nature, the hotel offered stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range and the valley below, creating a truly unforgettable backdrop for breakfast each morning. The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The food was a highlight of our experience—every meal was a delight, and we found ourselves eagerly anticipating breakfast and dinner each day. Favorites included the banana lassi (a must-have at every meal), the fresh salads, creamy mushroom soup, Nepali thali, butter paneer, and the indulgent gulab jamun. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after exploring the area. This hotel is a true gem for anyone visiting Pokhara, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!

We chose Sunshine Resort Pokhara to celebrate our anniversary, drawn by the promise of stunning views of the Annapurna range. While the view wasn’t as dramatic as depicted in the pictures, our stay was truly splendid. The hotel staff kindly upgraded us to a loft suite, which was well-equipped with every facility one would expect from a loft. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view from our room, making the experience even more special. The food was another highlight of our stay—the menu was varied, and the dishes were incredibly flavorful. Despite having to leave early for our next destination, the staff thoughtfully packed us a generous breakfast to take along. Above all, the staff truly made our stay memorable. One particular staff member, whose name I unfortunately forgot, stood out for his humor, helpful nature, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Overall, Sunshine Resort Pokhara provided a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning someday.

While Sunshine Resort Pokhara was a wonderful place to stay, one aspect that slightly detracted from the experience was the view. This property, I'm sure, once enjoyed an uninterrupted view and tranquility of the Annapurna range, but with new developments emerging between the resort and the mountains, the view is no longer as pristine and breathtaking as it once was.

I liked the serene and quiet surroundings. It’s far away from the city or Lake side. My room was very spacious and a bed was comfortable. The bathroom is also very big. Although the room does require a bit of renovation. The staff were great and helpful. Thanks to Roshan, I had all the food I needed even if it was not mentioned in the menu.

Two things disappointed me: they don’t provide good coffee for breakfast (only Nescafé) which is not suitable for 5* resort (I even had good coffee in 2* hotels) and you have to ask for the hot water so it’s not always available to you. Also the food menu is limited and mostly unhealthy as for me, and double priced. The pool is not heated.

I had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Resort. The resort is nestled in a peaceful environment, making it perfect for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The rooms were spacious, offering plenty of room to relax, and the cleanliness of both the rooms and the resort, in general, was impressive. The swimming pool was pristine, adding to the resort's charm and making it a great spot to relax during the day. If you're looking for a serene escape with excellent service, clean facilities, and a connection to nature, Sunshine Resort is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Keshav and team at Sunshine Resort were simply amazing. They are very courteous and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay very comfortable Praveen, the in-house employee, is willing to drive you to the local sight seeing places and delights you with his stories and helps you understand the local culture and cuisine The view of the Macchapuchhre mountains and the river is simply breathtaking, and you can enjoy a cup of tea in the morning while soaking in the natural beauty all around you. Thanks for making my stay so comfortable, and I would love to come back

Probably the distance from the main city and the approach roads. That is a not a complaint against the resort but the apathy of the local govt authorities

Big comfortable rooms with reasonably big bathrooms. Clean pool. Exceptional service staff (All of them). Wonderful view of the Fish Tail mountain, the Annapurna range from the room balcony. The service staff was ever courteous, smiling and eager to help.

Menu choices are pretty limited and it being far from the markets, you are confined to the limited choices available. The property itself is a bit small with a clean pool and a small badminton court but I could easily jog on the road outside (almost no traffic) so that was still manageable. Kids would have loved some indoor game options like pool, table tennis etc.

The room and bathroom were spotless, and breakfast was prepared as per my choice. Plus, the airport pickup and drop-off made my trip effortless. This property is perfect for nature lovers, offering a peaceful retreat. To fully enjoy the experience, I recommend staying for at least two nights. Highly recommend this place!
