Mr Mahendra and his wife were kind enough to serve us some excellent Rajma and roti in the morning since we dont take eggs and bread would suffice for a heavy day ahead Rooms ambience and view was superb. Mr Mahendra was always available and very impressive with omnipresence. Very neat and clean

We didn't realize the difference bw normal and deluxe. For the price we paid high end toiletries was unfair so better to carry your toiletries

I stayed for 1 night but extended another night and booked the King Studio room. The highlight of the room was a comfortable bed and a full-size western bathtub with ample hot water. After a day of trekking, soaking in the bathtub was blissful. The proprietor Mahendra and his wife were humble, attentive, and caring. Mahendra helped me with info about hiking trails and even gave me a lift on his scooter to the tourist bus station when I was heading for the next leg of my journey. The location is a bit further off than the main Lakeside section of town, but I chose the location for a more peaceful and quiet area anyway. I recommend his place if you want a quiet location with a full bathtub and a nice comfy bed. Plus, Mahendra has a lot of good knowledge, so he can help you plan for your Pokhara stay.

The owner was a grumpy unfriendly guy. It was hot in Pokhara and it didn't help that the ceiling fan wouldn't work properly - even the highest speed was just insufficient... The owner showed a couple more rooms but all of them had the same problem. Had a sleepless night thanks to this issue

The property owner is helpful and co-operative. The shower, including warm water, is good. All amenities are functional, too. Value for money!

The spouse of the male owner is, in my eyes, less customer friendly than the owner himself. All accommodations calculate a surcharge* of approximately 3.5% on the Rupee amount after converting the US Dollar amount indicated in the booking. *costs of the Nepali bank

This was our third visit to this hotel. Our first stay was 10 years ago. Mahindra and his wife are so kind and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They serve a delicious breakfast daily in their beautiful courtyard. They are happy to arrange excursions and taxis for guests. We look forward to our next visit!

Stayed 4 days the first time and stayed a week the second time. The place is very peaceful and the garden is beautiful. Room is clean and spacious. The owner is very kind, helpful and friendly. We will stay again if we are in Pokhara in future. Highly recommended

First of all, I think it´s important to mention that I stayed for 5 nights, while most of the visitors stay for 1 or 2 nights before trekking. New Pokhara Lodge is a very cozy and welcoming hotel, with extremely polite and warm owners - they were interested in asking how I was when I felt sick, bringing me water and making themselves available to help. The hotel is located at the edge of the lakeside, making it quiet and ideal for a nice sleep, whilst being only a few minutes away from the lake and the central part of the area. It also has a well-kept garden. The breakfast offered was eggs (in any of the usual forms), which is typical in Nepali budget hotels, along with coffee, juice and a banana.

Warm welcoming family, great mountain view from the window and the roof top. R00m is modest and clean. Perfect location if you depart or arrive to Tourist bus station, it is just about 10 minutes walk, close to the lake as well and the main street. Keep in mind,need to be at place before 10 pm.

The New Pokhara Lodge is a wonderful place. It is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The rooms are minimalistic but with everything you need (e.g. hotwater/tea), the bathroom is big and like the other room very clean. Wifi works in the room. The garden is perfect to do some exercise or reading a book. And there is the stunning view from the rooftop. And all that for reasonable prices. Mahindra is great host aswell. So all in all a 10/10. I will come again.

The owner and their family was really welcoming, i felt really comfortable. And they were very accommodating to my plans and needs. Breakfast was delicious. And they were really kind. Cannot recommend them enough.
