This property is very close to my heart. It’s beautiful location and the most amazing staff are both unmatched. This was our second stay at this property (much more special this time as we were also celebrating my dad’s 70th). The staff went above and beyond to make it all memorable. Sanju, one of the senior staff members there is a blessing for this property and its guests. She is a very professional, genuine, kind and always there to assist in best possible way. There is nothing not to like.

A huge shoutout to Mr. Kamal Prasad and the amazing team at Sarangkot Mountain Lodge. Beyond the stunning views and excellent food, it’s the people here that make this place truly special. We faced a tricky travel situation involving embassy paperwork, which could have derailed our entire trip. One call to Mr. Kamal and his words were: “You and your family enjoy your trip — leave this to me.” And he meant it. He personally coordinated everything, ensuring our travel continued smoothly while we stayed stress-free. This kind of genuine, above-and-beyond service is rare and priceless. If you’re visiting Pokhara, this place isn’t just a stay — it’s an experience. Highly recommend! A few highlights worth mentioning: Location: 10/10 -- Nestled amidst the hills, with panoramic views of the Annapurna range, this lodge offers a front-row seat to nature’s grandeur. The rooms, though compact, are beautifully maintained and cleverly designed — the scenery more than makes up for any size considerations. Food: 10/10 -- The culinary experience here is a journey in itself. The authentic Nepali dishes, especially their Thakali set, are a must-try — an explosion of flavors prepared with heart. Customer Service: 100/10 -- I say this without exaggeration. The genuine care, humility, and proactive attitude of Mr. Kamal and his team set a new benchmark in hospitality. It’s rare to find a place where service comes from a place of sincerity, not duty — and Sarangkot Mountain Lodge epitomizes that. Trekking Experience: 10/10 - - For those seeking a little adventure, the trekking trails around the lodge offer serene woods and breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas. It’s an experience you simply cannot miss while staying here.

The location, the view and the staff were fabulous! This is a cosy lodge type property. Not very big (property and the rooms) but anyone travelling to Pokhra must stay there. One of a kind view of the mountains and the city from the high altitude. It’s also a great place to be in to carry out paragliding, zip line and trekking activities as all of these start right next to the property. The staff are very dedicated to delivering to whatever you need and this was the more important than anything else. Highly recommended.

I wish the rooms and property were bigger.

The view from the property is truly stunning, and we were fortunate to have clear weather at the end of December to fully enjoy the beauty of the Annapurna mountain range. To celebrate our 12th anniversary, my husband and I chose this property, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The staff were warm, humble, and genuinely kind. They made our day even more memorable by decorating our room and arranging a beautiful candlelight setup. They surprised us with a cake and even sang for us, which added a personal touch to the celebration. Cutting the cake surrounded by the team felt like a heartfelt experience—almost like being at home, away from home. The manager, Mr. Kamal, was nice and shared fascinating insights about Fishtail, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast spread and overall food quality were excellent.

One suggestion would be to add some seating arrangements at the front of the property so guests can better enjoy the breathtaking mountain views.

We went there for our engagement and they did a set up beyond expectations. I also got the best rate through Kamal sir who matched the rate with booking.com last minute which I really appreciated. Our engagement was something of a paradise. The staff Bibek who served us was so good and catered to every needs. The restaurant manager and staff each and every one was so good. Service was impeccable. The highest of the standards. Also love the doko as dustbin adding Nepali touch to luxury. This was everything we hoped for and beyond. Must must must stay.

Absolutely exceptional! In every way! Fabulous staff, fabulous food (huge breakfast buffet with a view) fabulous pool, fabulous service!! The large spotless room with a gorgeous bathroom had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. I was travelling with my mum and we had two rooms - they kindly put us in ones that interconnected if we chose to - which we did so it was like a suite. And oh my goodness THAT view! From your room!! Or the rooftop bar, or the pool. Just wow. A short walk to the world class cable car to take you down to Pokhara but why walk when they offer a complimentary drive to the cable car and even pick you up if you contact them (or in our case saw us walking back when they dropped off other people and promptly came back and picked us up). It’s also right next door (a 30 second walk) to the zip line which you HAVE to do! One of the BEST places I have ever stayed. Stay here instead of Pokhara, and catch the 9 minute beautiful cable car with an incredible view when you feel like going to town. You will LOVE it!

Nothing- it’s perfect!

Beyond our expectations. The hotel is perched on the mountain top with spectacular views of the Annapurna Range overlooking the lakes of Pokhara below. The staff greeted us with drums and a local folk song and we felt so very welcome. The rooms were fabulous with everything you could wish for including wine, nuts and fruit which was refreshed every day. Everyone from management to all staff were a delight and extremely helpful when organising transport and everything else during our stay. The infinity pool on the roof and bar was a real highlight as were the views from both there and our wonderful balconies. Breakfast and the restaurant were amazing. The service is unsurpassed and I can honestly say this is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in.

Everything was amazing. The food was some of the best we have had in Nepal!! The buffet breakfast was amazing and the restaurant had delicious food Rooms were very clean and comfortable and every night we were given a warm water bottle which was the best. All the staff were so lovely and very helpful. The views were amazing even when it was cloudy.

Hard to get to and from the hotel if you want to explore the city centre but there is a cable car that goes up and down for $12 USD that we took a few times. You just need to walk 10ish minutes to get there!

Luxury at Its Best Every corner of Sarangkot Mountain Lodge speaks of elegance and comfort. From the beautifully designed rooms to the stunning infinity pool that seems to merge with the surrounding landscape, the facilities are nothing short of exceptional. The pool area, in particular, stands out as a serene haven where you can relax while enjoying uninterrupted mountain views. Always Smiling Staff The hospitality at Sarangkot Mountain Lodge is second to none. The staff are incredibly warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. Their genuine smiles and readiness to assist made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. Culinary Delights The culinary experience was another highlight. I followed the chef’s recommendation and opted for Nepali cuisine, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and authentic, showcasing the best of local ingredients. The breakfast spread was equally impressive, offering a wide range of delicious options to start the day on a perfect note.

The staff were beyond helpful and polite and did everything within their power to make the stay as comfortable and as magical as possible. It was my partners birthday during the stay and the staff made it one of the most lovely evenings we have ever had. The rooms are incredible, and any questions or queries were dealt with swiftly. There was nothing missing from our stay. Once in a lifetime brilliant.

It would be nice if the cable car ran a little later in the evening, but this is nothing to do with the hotel.
