Everything is excellent, this hotel is kind of home stay and running by the family. The guy who is taking care the reception, he is very supportive. When I asked for sightseeing he advised my self to book local tourist bus in cost 800 NPR per person that is good selection for visit places to cover, if you will go for private taxi they will charge 5000 to 8000 NPR for a day which is high for local sightseeing. Room were nicely clean and comfy..one open balcony terrace is there so you can sit and enjoy the fresh air of hills. Lake facing. Overall fantastic experience, go for for without any confusion.

Located just in the center of Pokhara and only a few steps away from Lakeside the hotel offers good service for a good price. We booked the accommodation serval times and always been satisfied. Our room was always clean and we had a good view of the lake even from the balcony. A special thank you goes to the receptionist Dinesh, who was always in a good mood, friendly and kind, caring for us and answering all of our questions. Late check out was also possible without any problem. We really enjoyed our stay at Golden Lake and would definitely come back whenever we are in Pokhara!

The only thing to mention is the bar nearby, which has live music in the evenings, but it usually stops around 11pm and after that the night will be quiet

As we had evening travelled by bus from Kathmandu we than arrived early morning at 4AM in Pokhara, that is the time we started to bother Dinesh, the sincere genuine with kind hearted guy who runs the hotel. He opened the gate and welcomed us and offered some kind assistances before pleased us to rest and do the necessity later at our convenient. And from that moment he was always there to ensured we have had the enjoyful moment at the hotel and in Pokhara. The arrangement for sunrise, sightseeing and the tracking were so fantastic! Everything were on time also with foods and drinks we have had orders. We feel quite overwhelmed and we are lucky to have your full support. It really means a lot to us! Keep it up!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💯

We visited Pokhara during the last week of Dec when there is Street Festival organised all over the streets of Pokhara and it was worth seeing and the best part is our Hotel Golden Lake is located on the same street from where the street festival starts, so its very convenient to walk there. Also, you can see Fewa Lake from the balcony/terrace, view is adorable. Fewa Lake is just walking distance from the hotel. Hotel owner Dinesh Tondon is also very cooperative and he guided us on our travel plans.

The staff are very respectable and acted immediately on my needs. Also grateful for them being flexible to allow me to check in early. Dinesh is also super friendly and dedicated to making guests comfortable.

Perhaps the music from the neighboring flat but that was really out of Golden Lakes's control and was only for a couple of hours on Saturday night.

A place held by a small and so warm family. I asked them to change room because I wanted more privacy and I had a new room on the same day. They also helped me to book the paragliding tour and lend me a jacket for my whole journey. I really recommend this place.

In some evening, there are some concerts until 11pm-00am in the surroundings. So bring your earplugs if you want to go to bed earlier.

We had a great and lovely stay in Golden lake pokhra. One of best hotel in pokhra. Host and owner Mr Dinesh is wonderful person and also very hunmle and co operative.. For Family travelers I always recommended golden lake hotel always. Location is excellent near by Lake. view from hotel also excellent. At last had a brilliant experience, worth every penny. Amazing hospitality.

The staffs were quite helpful to assist you for the whatever you need.the rooms having terrace with lake view

The loud noise coming from the outside as the hotel located near the restaurant in which they perform the live music so it's quite disturbing as the music goes until the late evening

Dinesh, the owner and manager, is very nice. As a new traveller to pokhara, he guided me with all the important information and was very kind and helpful in giving me the honest and right advice. The hotel is situated in the perfect spot for people looking to just chill by the lake.

The location is in the Bohemian area of the Lakeside. There are good, cheap restaurants, music nightly in the restaurant next door...good musicans... I had a room on the 4th floor, with both a patio and a private balcony with an exquisite view of the lake and mountains. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The price of the room is very affordable, the hot water is good, it is clean and well maintained. It is a stones throw to the lake. There is a comfortable ambiance in the hotel and the area.
