Everything was clean. Breakfast and dinner was above my expectations. Beach is close, shower facilities. It offers some activities and stores were nearby. Reception was helpful, they arranged taxi for us, also late checkout. You can rent car directly in the hotel and it's the best option as well. My brother had wedding here and Nexi, the organizer, was amazing.

Hotel is older and in need for reconstruction - hence the price. I'd appreciate cold water to be available, or at least have the possibility to buy it at reasonable price during the whole day.

The location is amazing, combination of direct access to one of the best beaches and big swimming pool is awesome. I've red some complaining about local staff on booking ratings, but I would like to say it's only about communication with local people. Be nice to them and they will be also very kind to you as well...

The breakfast and the location.

It’s an old hotel without elevator and needs some renovation. They also need more beach towels because there were never available at the pool kiosk.

Breakfast, beach, location. All the staff (especially Jacintha and all the staff at the reception and Pasindu and the staff of the Parrot restaurant) were very friendly, courteous and helpful.

There is no elevator which is inconvenient, if you find it difficult to walk.

Loved the chalet, lots of space, great supply of teas and coffee, immaculately clean. Great staff. Fabulous location. Lovely pool.

The late night (early morning, 2am) functions that were really loud. Not guest related. WiFi for only three devices.

Berjaya is a really nice place - perfect location, wonderful breakfast with a wide choice of food starting early morning even before 6 for those tourists who have to leave early. There are a few more restaurants, nice swimming pool, a big garden with its diamond - the huge turtles. Staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle bus for the guests to Victoria and also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. In general I liked the atmosphere there - feeling safe enough, cosy and comfortable.

Rooms do not reflect 4 stars, but that is not a big trouble as they were clean and wide enough. It would have been great if there were a terrace and where to dry clothes, but again not a big minus. The view was to some roof and just minor part of the garden even though a garden view was described in the booking.

Beachfront location is great. Swimming pool is good. Property is big enough so guests are not on top of each other even if full occupancy. Many places to sit and relax and just listen to the waves. Property is not modern or luxurious but all your basic needs are there. Most important is the customer service from staff. Everyone has been so warm, welcoming and helped us with our stay and tours. Special thanks to Tess, Kris, Brian and Nexi who all taken care of us during our stay. Made this vacation perfect because of the warm welcome from this property. We will definitely recommend and would go back to this property.

Furniture are old and not updated. But you will hardly notice since you have this great beachfront and best customer service.

Chalet room upstairs with balcony was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, special thank you for chef making omelettes and pancakes every morning.

Restaurants at the hotel were not as good as restaurants at the village near beach.

Breakfast was good but not so various. Location is really great on the beach. Wi-fi was good. We were 3 people and we booked 2 rooms: a standart room in the hotel and a deluxe room. Our deluxe room for my husband and me was perfect and exceeded our expectations. We have a great terrace аnd all amenities you might have. We can recommend you to book a deluxe room if you are a couple because it't really worth it. Hotel assist us to check-in early and on check-out to use shower rooms, storage room and all facilities at the hotel until we have to leave for the airport. All of this was free of charge and we really appreciate it. Thank you and we hope to visit you again!

Waiters are not very polite and the service is very slow, menu is not very various.
