The villa was amazing. sea view, build and decorated with taste with a lot of space and a private pool. We really enjoyed the time there between our island exploration trips. Praslin is also a good place for a day trip to La Digue. The employees were nice and helpful (except see below).

The Manager with big ears was just terrible. When I raised the issue with the internet, he said if we do not like something - "I do not mind if you leave". Absolutely unacceptable attitude. I wanted to put a 1 but the property and the other staff do not deserve this.

We had a wonderful stay at the Castello Beach Hotel on Praslin. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely view of the ocean. The hotel also had a great pool, a restaurant, and offers massages, which we enjoyed very much. The location was perfect, close to the beach and the nature. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway on Praslin. We would definitely come back again.

While the internet speed could be slightly faster, considering the hotel's unique location on a small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, it remains remarkably acceptable.

Hotel recommendation score: 8-9/10. We give it 9 due to the hospitality and happiness that had been all around. Definitely the location of the place is very good - due to close proximity to one of the two most beautiful beaches on Praslin and airport. Hotel is flexible. We stayed there pre season (June) without full occupation. Therefore there was plenty of spaces beach, pool, restaurant. We had been allowed to extend *a little bit* our checkout time :) - I won’t spoil any details, but if there is an option, I’m pretty sure that the stuff would do anything to please your stay a little bit. I recommend to use Air Seyschelles instead of Ferry (CatCocos) due to easy extension of your holidays. In general - Seyschelles are worth. Please do have in mind that this is 4x much more expensive alternative (Aircraft vs Ferry). Food: Good breakfast, limited option, no open table but we never leave hungry. The staff take care of it. Dinner: also limited option but also very good, we tried only once. Hospitality: as per above. Pool: clean. Showers on the beach (warm water). Sea Beach - small but quiet. Depending on the season you are able to use it to sun bath - we were not able to. Upper beach / pool beach - very good. General state of the hotel: so… it’s colonial English-style state with hand(?) made wooden furniture (quite everything). Bungalow-style. A little bit 2000s state and you see it on every corner :). Fortunately - they built it well and with details so it’s not a ruin, but you see time elapse. Cons: Unfortunately - we had some miscommunication but the hotel rewards us with an upgrade: no questions ask. That’s 2022 approach. Hard truth, but they pull it up. Air Condition: Beacuse I know that staff is working on it I will only say that you can live without AC with open windows and making some air movement in the place. WiFi: this is an issue. If you don’t want to use WiFi or you are doing it occasionally that’s a really good place to retreat .

where to start , we liked almost everything about these people who work there and the hotel , the location is great, each evening we were able to watch the stunning sunset and listen to the waves. the hotel is right at the beach so my daughter played at the send whole day. one day we talked with the receptionist about live music , we were wondering where we can go and watch some performances and the next day There was live music organised in the hotel , we were shocked.During our stay we had birthday and room was packed with all the flower decorations , we got a complimentary cake and a birthday song with wishes. there was fresh coconut water and the chef knows very well how to cook Italian cuisine.

not so comfortable beds

The property is located in a beautiful setting and has a stunning view of the sunset. The staff are incredibly polite and welcoming and tend to all your needs without a fuss and very quickly. The decor is outdated in the rooms but we can see pat this and see the charm of this beautiful little hotel. We ate at the hotel restaurant each night and the food was exceptional! Best we’ve had in all the 11 days we stayed in the Seychelles. This is a must stay in Praslin!

Beautiful scenery. Full of greenery and romantic atmosphere in the hotel. The restaurant is very stunning with a mesmerizing view. Food selection is wide and delicious. My absolute favorite was the buffet breakfasts where they even had some special fruits (red guava) served from Brazil. I enjoyed spending time by the ocean in the liltle corner sitting areas which was perfect for grounding and meditational experience. There are quite a few private sunbeds where one can enjoy every bit of their vacation. I would like to also highlight the beautiful scenery of the resort and attention to details which creates a very unique environment such as the massage hut by the ocean which is partly outdoor. Very special. I really liked the outdoor design and greenery of nature everywhere. Natual and authentic design makes Castello a very outstanding vacation location. Our room was very special and beautiful too. Really enjoyed our scenery from the balcony. If you love kittens one can easily make some new friends too. Regarding the staff Neil will make sure one have their best welcome they could. He is very outstanding with regards to his customer experience and excellence. We are very grateful for all his generous help and kind support throughout our stay.

The staff was very nice and friendly, they made sure we have everything we need. Breakfast was tasty and fresh, the room was always clean and comfortable, and we were close to Anse Georgette. Overall we loved our stay.

Attitude of the restaurant staff only focusing on particular guests even though called for many times ignoring like no one is there, food was good but it should be served by them where they don’t do that

Great accomodations. Amazing breakfast buffet. Staff so friendly. The view and the beach a must seen.

it is a beautiful place. But it’s important to know that if you do not rent a car, every ride is about $35. to the ferry, to the good restaurants and to the walking parks. Ask for Neal - he is the only guy that really gives good tips and helpful.
