like when people treat others like family during their stay, making the experience more welcoming and respectful. It's important for guests to feel comfortable, respected, and valued, just as one would treat family members.

I witnessed a hostel manager shouting at an elderly man and even throwing his passport on the floor in an insulting manner. She was speaking so loudly that I could hear her from the top floor, prompting me to go down and check what was happening. The elderly man was waiting outside, so I approached him to ask about the situation. I initially thought he might be facing financial difficulties, and I was ready to help. However, the lady was extremely rude and even started shouting at me. She told me that she would refund my money and demanded that I leave immediately. This experience was truly terrible. I had to move out suddenly, leaving behind some of my belongings, which they refused to return. Because of this, I strongly do not recommend anyone stay there. To be honest, I couldn’t sleep well for a few days. I had always heard good things about Singapore and its people, but this lady’s behavior was completely unacceptable. While I can forgive her, I firmly believe that she should at least respect elderly individuals.

Absolutely filth. The little India area the hostel is located is exactly that (little India). Disgusting area. My bed was a mattress on the floor on level 3 room j. Mice were all over the place near my bed and all around the room searching for food. Zoom in in the photos and you will see the mouse trying to rip the trash bag under the bed. I managed to count 7 mice all up. The floors were dirty with trash bags and food items I didn't sleep even an hour. A Muslim guy was praying all night right next to me.This place is a hazard for the community and I am reporting them as we speak to the health and safety department. I you have a bit of dignity left in you you won't stay in the stable. FILTH FILTH FILTH.

Worst customer service . Female Receptionist was very rude . Her main focus is to extract money without helping and supporting customer. Room is very smelly .. Toilet,kitchen and passage all are very dirt Sheets are not clean. ... Worst location . All nights bars and clubs were disturbing the sleep For charging, mobile socket has to be purchased . Price is too high for budget traveller... Price was Soo high that in morning half of rooms were left by the customer. Will not visit or recommend again .

NOTHING good to mention- Not even worth the low price. For this standard, even if it's free I wouldn't choose to stay here again. This is honestly the worst hostel I've ever experienced, even worse than the one I stayed in during my visit to India a few years ago.

• Environment: Extremely poor, dirty, and infested with cockroaches everywhere, including beside the bed, lockers, shower, and kitchen. Saw more than 20 cockroaches during my 2 night stay. I woke up to see cockroaches crawling on the wall, and saw 2 ran into my locker from the wall. • Facilities: - The room door had no lock, the staff seemed to insist that the door should be kept open all the time. When I first checked in, I thought it wasn't closed properly. However, when the staff realised that the door was closed (as it should be), they pushed it wide open and used a doorstop to keep it 24hrs open. The dorms on the first floor, except for one room that seemed to have a normally functioning door, were also kept open during my stay. - The overpowering AC made me cough when I was in the dorm, and I heard other guests coughing and complaining about catching a cold/headache due to the cold air. - Shaky bunk bed-even the slightest movement could make it shake, which you can imagine was miserable in the freezing cold room with people constantly coughing. • Staff: Initially seemed okay but were actually rude and disrespectful. During my stay, they randomly entered the room several times. On my checkout day, they placed a new mattress on my bed even before I checked out. When I raised questions based on the confirmation email I received, the lady at the front desk was unable to assist and said I was wasting her time. Finally, I recommend this hostel to anyone interested in cockroach spotting challenge :) For other travelers, if you must try it, my suggestion is not to book more than 1 night. If you are expecting accommodations that fit the price and meet normal standards, you can find much better options in Chinatown. My stay in Chinatown had modernised facilities, clean rooms (no cockroaches), normal AC, doors that could close properly with locks, sturdy bunk beds with clean mattresses & quilts. The common areas were tidy as well.
