The food was really amazing, so great I gained 10lbs ! Do not come here if you don’t want to eatttt! The rooms are cleaned all day, I don’t even know if I had the opportunity to use a towel twice. Fridge remained stocked and the staff were so sweeeet and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here and will be returning! The food is amazzzinggggg, amazinggggg. Very convenient location! Excursions to St Barths and Anguilla sell out quickly, so try to book them prior to your arrival. Overall, would recommend and have already started recommending!

I believe they should offer free shuttle, because it is on the pricier side. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport, I don’t think arranging shuttle for their guests would be an inconvenience.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. In particular, there is a pool and two restaurants situated out on the edge of the sea cliffs that are picture perfect out of a dream! The food is pretty good, room service surprisingly good. Drinks are so-so, staff is super nice. Wifi was good throughout most of the property.

Make sure you don't get a room that ends in -22 (122, 222, 322 etc) because these are basically the ONLY rooms in the hotel without a view of the sea. Instead you have a view of a giant tree, which is fine but not what you're paying for. The area immediately surrounding the resort (Maho Beach) was not my favorite. I prefer other parts of the island for spending time, particularly Phillipsburg and Orient Bay.

We enjoyed nearly everything about the resort, the staff was Great and the Food was well above expectations!!! The staff was also helpful in information about both on and off resort activities. They were very helpful !

The only thing I can really say could have been a little better was the Music at the pool and bar area was Louder than it needed to be in my opinion and the early morning (6am-9am) music around the walkways and throughout the resort could have been more relaxing and a little quieter. This is only my opinion, generally the music selection was Great and performers were very good.

1. I loved that there was a wide variety of things to eat at the various restaurants in the resort. The food was delicious. 2.The view from the balcony of our room and from the Azul restaurant was breathtaking. 3.Live entertainment and other events were planned out each day. 4. The culture, hospitality and warmness of the workers and persons in St. Martin were amazing. Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay fully. We recommend anyone planning to visit St Maarten to stay at the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort. You will not regret it.

Food was average. Excellent location, although the music from nearby facilities made sleeping at night almost impossible. Had to call security several times because of the noise and unfortunately nothing could be done. Staff was overall friendly. Azul was our favorite restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner-had the best ambience and service.

Nearby facilities nightly music was SO LOUD. Maybe some kind of soundproofing might help.

Stayed in a swim out - wonderful room, great pool, very quiet. Tenvas at the Point pool bar was great - took care of us 6 or 7 days. Annikay (sp?) and Jennifer and the whole staff at Azul were amazing! Excellent food at Azul - ate there most nights, plenty of variety over a week. Also wonderful gluten free choices and kudos to the Chef for doing modified gluten free when asked. Service was great everywhere - bars, restaurants, front desk, housekeeping, grounds. Loved the iguanas hanging around - chum chum and spooner by the Edge pool especially. Planes were neat to watch come and go - get the FlightAware app to track inbound/outbound - Air France and KLM planes are huge!

Would have LOVED it if there was drink service in the swim outs. It was low season, so maybe they can't justify extra staff, but that would have been perfect to avoid getting out of pool, walking through the room, across bridge and to the bar. Not a lot of variety at the buffets for breakfast. Didn't get to try all the restaurants - again, low season so the schedule didn't allow them to all open every night. Tavern could use better sports TV packages ... and being where it is, it's pretty empty.

The staff was amazing. The smiles and kindness exceeded the frowns 100 - 1. Truly an amazing experience. It's not the best food - but it has choices and is good. The alcohol is far from top shelf. But the wine is ok and the drinks are overall good. But when you put it all together - the staff makes it amazing. I have stayed at 5 star resorts that pale in the overall enjoyment. And it is the people here that make all the difference. I will definitely return and would recommend without reservations this facility.

The location was beautiful, and location was great! We could walk to many places and were able to take our car service to many other places. The rooms were clean and spacious and we loved the mini bar ( which was massive).

I didn't like how close the adult only facilities and restaurants were to the family friendly side. I would've preferred more separation for the cost difference. I almost could've paid less and stayed on the family friendly side.

What a beautiful property! Well maintained, great location, clean, delicious food and great service. AMAZING staff! Our server each morning at breakfast, Dianica and the lovely hostess were just the sweetest. We had another server at the Bluefin for dinner, Matiline who we adored as well. Our favourite bartender by the ocean terrace was a gem as well, Saskatoon! We can’t wait to go back.

Nothing bad to say about this place, we loved it

The staff was exceptional! Mrs. Sheryl at the adult pool is the best bartender and Ronaliee is a server and always on top of things. She was exceptional! Wenkisse is an amazing server with the best attitude! She works at Azul. The gentleman that bartends at the front of the resort with the mini casino during the daytime knew ALL of the best tours and such and even pulled up the local paper. Mr. Steve at the rental car booth was very informative too. Mrs. Marie Claude is awesome with housekeeping and the food for the whole trip was amazing!

The AC was not great and the bed was a bit hard. We did receive a new mattress though so that was nice and the staff brought us a fan too!
