The location was excellent and provided great value for the price. If you ever find yourself feeling too tired to continue your journey after exploring the stunning Postojna Cave, this hotel is undoubtedly the best choice for a restful night. The rooms were impeccably clean and modern. I was particularly impressed with the mattress—it was firm yet incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff at the hotel were helpful. The breakfast provided was good, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, and excellent service makes it a standout choice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Postojna Cave area.

We booked the half-board option, which included dinner. This is one area where the hotel could improve. The dinner options were limited, with only salmon and stir-fried beef and vegetables available. There were no roasted dishes on offer, not a fancy menu, which was a bit disappointing. Enhancing the variety and quality of the dinner menu would greatly improve the overall dining experience.

Very well staffed including the restaurant. Hotel kept very clean. Efficient, friendly staff who seem to all speak English. Excellent location for the caves and other local sightseeing locations. We used Postojna railway station to travel by train to Ljubliana and also visited Trieste. Good parking at the front of the hotel.

No kettle. Apparently this is for health and hygiene reasons. Nothing to hold onto in the shower which we consider a potential health and safety issue. Very poor TV reception. The picture kept freezing and pixelating.

What a view and location! Really enjoyed our stay, the room was amazing, loved the idea that one side of bathroom is made of glass which is covered by a curtain, if you open the curtain, you can have a shower with a great view of the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel. The view from our room was just breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious, there was such a big selection of foods, self-service buffet. The staff on the reception desk were very welcoming and helpful, we could even use the parking space after the check out for free. They explained to us about all the attractions around which I found very helpful. Will definitely come again.

The only thing I missed was the slippers in the room, and there is no food available in the hotel after 9pm. Regardless, amazing stay, thank you!

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Location right next door to the caves entrance so couldn't have been better. Bonus Secret Rooms Tour which was a very eye opening and interesting to do and made very interactive and exciting. I'd highly recommend that. Buffet dinner was lovely, plenty of choice. Bar was nice and the head Barman was very friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is free for guests and very close. There's a coach which runs from the car park to Predjama Castle which is 1 euro each way. You pay the return fare in cash to the driver. The timetable is on the hotel desk. We stayed just one night but had a lovely time. The room was lovely, aircon worked well, lovely balcony and view.

There wasn't anything that was an issue for us.

The male receptionist was sooo lovely. Wish I had got his name but he was so happy to help us! Not everyone at reception was nice but he made us feel very welcome. Our room was on the 5th floor with a lovely view over the river and the mountains which we loved. We had a bath which was nice but the shower head was leaking. The room was not very clean and the toilet needs to be replaced because it's all scratched so it looks dirty. There were dust bunnies everywhere and the bed wasn't very well made. But not a big deal, it wasn't dirty just dusty. Other than that, we had a good night's sleep and the views were beautiful. Super handy location if you want to visit the cave first thing in the morning. The restaurant and the food were fabulous, definitely recommend. The breakfast was okay. I'd recommend this hotel if you're staying overnight in Postojna.

It's in a very good location. There are 2 museums and the cave nearby. Breakfast is plentiful, I think everyone will find something suitable for themselves.

As for the parking lot belonging to the hotel, there is a rather limited demand for space. Not suitable for the price/value ratio. Much more expensive. The bed moves easily, just sit on it and it slides on. I don't think the bed is comfortable enough for one night for a longer trip. We were given a rather dark, poorly located room, nothing could be seen from the window

We were two days there. The dinner was excellent on the first evening, and on the second one way worse. As if there was another kitchen staff on the second evening.

The reception and bar/ restaurant staff is very professional, friendly, approachable and helpful. The room we got was very comfortable (not too big but just fine) and clean, and with an amazing view. The location of the hotel is excellent to visit the Predjama Castle, Postojna Cave, Vivarium and EXPO all in one day. It is rather busy with all the tourist groups, so would not stay there for a week, but just fine if one wants to do a quick sightseeing. We loved the Secret Rooms tour! We were allowed to take it in the evening, after 21.00h, great fun to finish off an exciting day of sightseeing!

The buffet dinner served by hotel restaurant is varied but all in all rather expensive and not that great in quality. Understandable that buffet dinner is an easier option for big groups of travelers, but as individual guests, we would rather have had an option to select a la carte, even if there were only a few simple options.

Beds are big and comfortable, room was modern and very clean. Staff were very helpful at front desk and meal servings. Food was very good, buffet dinner and breakfast with a good varied selection. You can purchase tickets at reception so no need to stand in the busy ticketing station downstairs. Re parking you only need to pay 10 euro once as you get your ticket validated each time you take your car out.
