Very quiet, quaint property. Great local between Vrsac Pass and Posotjna Cave. We ate dinner there which was lovely. Pricey but Michelin star rated so inexpensive compared to states. $75 for all the courses. Breakfast was yogurt, fruits, granolas, meat cheeses and eggs made to order. Everything seemed homemade and was just right I wish we had stayed at least one more night. So many hikes in the area. The property has e-bikes to rent as well

Starting to feel a bit older inside. Some carpets could be replaced. We were on floor 2. Someone will carry ur bags up if requested but no elevator. Not really a minus but beware 🤪

Beautiful old property and great sized bed and room with the most gorgeous view. Staff were incredibly helpful, carrying our luggage up two flights of stairs (no lift). Cold breakfast buffet beautifully presented and a good range. Good parking next to hotel. Great dinner with an extensive wine list (too extensive as it took me ages to select one!)

Worry about the stairs for older people - I slipped on the stair runner a couple of times which was no problem for me, but might be very problematic for someone with less balance. Hot options at breakfast - eggs were the only option; they did them however you wanted them (great) but they didn’t even come with a garnish - was literally eggs!

Hotel setting and surroundings, landscaping, hotel exterior and interior is beautiful. Room O (the standard room) is very comfortable, spacious with a comfortable bed. Staff are exceptionally hospitable, friendly, professional and welcoming. The dinner experience was excellent, the best food during our one week tour in Slovenia.

There is however a road close by in the valley which could bother some guests. You do not hear the road in the hotel or when sitting outside in the dinning area. You can only hear the traffic at the front of the hotel if you are sitting outside.

The staff made us feel so special, from welcoming wine to chocolates on the bed at night. The food was amazing, especially the lamb goulash with the traditional pasta!! Beautiful location too, overlooking the village.

What can I say.. wonderful and wonderful staying! It had everything what we looked for.. the authenticity, warm hospitality, and comfort. In every single details, felt that they really cared about us, made feeling like a genuine home. Been many other hotels or B&b during our trip in Slovenia, but all were just expensive perhaps cause it is just August, only with commercial approach. But Kendov Dvorec was the only place where we bring good memories with us. Wonderful dinner with great selection of wine as well. Original Slovenian cuisine with fresh local ingredients.. all staffs were so kind. Will definitely come back with longer stay in the future.

We enjoyed an overnight stay here on a 2 week road trip around Slovenia. Dinner outside in the garden on a warm summer evening was just magical. The service was wonderful, and the rooms lovely.

The beds are old school, they look great, but they are creaky and very firm, but that’s just part of it.

Slovenia mountains and rivers are fabulous and many feel undiscovered and not over travelled. Very authentic!

If I had stayed longer...so many things to discover there. The people are genuine helpful and humble!

Lovely house, nicely furnished, very quiet, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and dinner focused on local products of amazing quality, the garden is very nice to unwind and the terrace to have breakfast and dinner weather permitting is lovely

This is a gem in an unexpected place. A nice garden, charming old structure, excellent meals in the restaurant (absolutely the best meal we had in Slovenia; also a great list of Slovenian wines). Attentive and friendly service. A visit to the mines is highly recommended.

The staff were nice & friendly. They were kind enough to accommodate my request for vegetarian dishes when we went for dinners at their restaurant. The breakfast & the meals were exceptional. The room was nice & clean. The hotel is located in a lovely village. We had a great time.

There was only an option for taking baths in the bathroom & there wasn't a cubicle for taking a shower.
