Wonderful environment, beautiful and clean hotel, friendly staff, always willing to answer your questions, nice young smiling people. I was a bit unsure about choosing the water park; from the photos, it’s hard to tell whether it’s new, old, small, or large. However, in the end, we were satisfied, the kids had a blast and enjoyed it. For me as a professional swimmer, it was a bit underwhelming, but that wasn't the purpose of the trip.

The restaurant – if you can even call it that – at the outdoor pool is, and I’m not exaggerating, absolutely terrible. If I were only rating 'the place where they serve food,' I would give it a 0.1/10. I don’t understand how the same place can have such refined service and quality food at breakfast and dinner, but then offer something so awful by the pool. €25 for a terrible sandwich, fries, water, and beer? You must be kidding. Secondly, the layout is a complete mess; you can’t tell where the entrance is, where to pay, where to stand, or where to exit. I had to remind the waitress three times about parts of my order she had forgotten. This is an absolute contrast to the rest of the hotel in terms of amenities, presentation, approach, and service quality.

Ultra large hotel set in beautifully manicured garden. Immaculately clean & very spacious rooms (we had booked 2). An easy 5 minute walk to small village centre. Very helpful & friendly receptionists. On check in, we were advised of a voucher to attend the aqua centre for 3 hours, so a very relaxing time was enjoyed at the sauna facilities, also very clean! A dinner buffet at a very reasonable price was available; however we opted for a cosier small local spot in the village which was perfect. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Personally prefer smaller family type hotels, but did not find anything in that area which ticked all the other requirements!

Breakfast was really good, as were the staff. The rooms are spacious. Location is excellent for hiking in the mountains and/or skiing. The nature is magnificent. The little town of Bohinjska Bistrica has everything you need for a short stay, so no worries there.

Heating/ventilation in the room didn't seem to work so we had a lack of fresh air (we opened the window a lot, but we were here in the winter, so not so excited about it). We weren't cold, mind you, it was even too warm at night (we set the thermostat at 20°C but it didn't work and the room card was in its activation place by the door that didn't light up), but still.

We were happy with the amenities at the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and the buffet dinner was also a nice additional option as we often didn’t want to go back out and try to find restaurants in the evening. I also had a birthday during this time and without anything being mentioned, they helped make it a special day. The pool was not too large, but comfortable enough to swim in (during the not too busy hours). My husband and I also enjoyed having the sauna area and bowling on site.

The pool was a bit smaller than we expected which made it difficult during busy hours to swim in, but we adjusted and went later on in the evenings when it was quieter.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The dinner selection is diverse and plentiful, offering a great variety. The pools and wellness facilities are excellent, providing a relaxing experience. There are always enough parking spaces, which is very convenient. The bowling alley is also a great addition, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The rooms are quite cold, and there is no way to increase the temperature, even though there is a device in the rooms, but it doesn’t seem to respond. I also heard from other hotel guests that they felt cold as well, especially after returning from skiing or using the pool. Additionally, the breakfast could be more diverse to offer a wider selection.

Great place - we visited with baby but we want to come back with all children, aquapark is great the village Bohinjska Bistrica is so nice and worth to visit and a gateaway for short or longer hiking trips. There is private parking, rooms were nice with bathrobes, slippers, towels and , location in the centre, aquazone with bouldering, children pool and 2 tobogans and wellness were great, ping-pong, bowling, cinema nights on fridays, salt cave and many options for children, great options for breakfast there was almond, rice milk and smoothies, carrot juice and beetroot juice, porrige, pastries etc..

Only little details like the tv in the room had too subtle sound, minibar was empty but there was a snack machine outside the room in the corridor, the bathroom toilet paper holder was a little broken, they give sheet to the saunas only for 5 euros, otherwise in the room are special green towels for wellnes (only :D)...we do not see any major issues to mention we would be unhappy about and I recommend this place, especially with children...

Great location, there is a parking on site even on busy day there were enough place to park the car. Breakfast was delicious, there were few vegeterian options but my girlfriend was satisfied, we tried dinner one night too and it was also worth the price we really liked it. The sauna park which was offered for three hours was really nice there were water, apples and tea and a nice cold pool and three different saunas to try. Room was comfortable and clean

The dinner finished at 9pm even tho it said it was till 10pm so we were disappointed. The room didn’t have any kettle or water to offer very surprising from a 4-star hotel. The aqua park heated pool was barely heated it was actually cold and wasnt satisfying. You have to pay for sauna if you wanted to go for more than one day.

Breakfast good, aqua park fun (but does requires maintenance), the provided robes and towels were appreciated. Car parking and location is good for this lovely town. Wifi is good. Elevators very efficient.

Air conditioner wasn’t working properly, as control was faulty, as kept saying window was open, the Safe didn’t work, towel heater and tv all were both glitchy, occasionally working. Pillows thin and lumpy. Mattress hard. The provided body wash/shampoo empty. I advised staff when leaving of room issues and instead of acknowledging what I was saying, just said I should have reported earlier. Honestly, I can’t be bothered constantly reporting faulty items and there were a lot. Maybe a quick audit should be conducted from time to time, as opposed to waiting for guests to advise. I hope these items were fixed up for next guests.

The New Year’s Eve program was great for families and we loved it. The dinner was classy, the photo booth was a very nice touch, the DJ was great and the staff were really amazing. We also really appreciated that we couldn’t hear the party downstairs in our room so our toddler could sleep without a problem. The water aerobics class on 1st Jan in the water park was a blast - the instructor chose the most perfect music and created a real family friendly party vibe 😊 We’ll certainly consider spending the New Year’s Eve with the child in this hotel again. We liked our very spacious room, the tasty food and the whole atmosphere in the hotel, especially the kindness, attentiveness and positive attitude of the whole staff.

The water park could use a bit more cleaning and an upgrade, otherwise everything was great.

It was clean. The aquapark is very nicely built. Good breakfast. Big room.

They gave us the wrong room - two single beds instead of a double. They changed it upon request but it was very inconvenient with all the luggage. The tv in the room wasnt working. The water pressure in the shower is terrible. Impossible to wash hair. We had to pay extra to stay at the pool after checkout (10€, its okay but for the price of the stay it could be included)
