The hotel is a short walk into town, perfectly easy to do but pleasantly secluded so you're not amongst it all. Lake Bohinj is right nearby, the staff were very accommodating and helpful, recommending a variety of walking options to fit into our timescale. The facilities were excellent - this is the only time I've ever had a room with a sauna in, and it was very welcome after the 6 hour hike! Bonus points to the restaurant staff who helped out with additional bedding when we realised we needed it - I strongly recommend booking dinner when you check in, it was delicious and so was the wine.

Everything you'd need. Everything you need in the room, quality products in the bathroom, slept like a charm despite my room being on the first floor by the stairs, I didn't hear the restaurant only a few meters away. Staff is welcoming, the restaurant may be a bit more expensive than the others in the region however the food is much more refined and excellent. The location is perfect, wonderful hikes pretty much on the doorstep. Bohinj is much quieter than Bled and just as stunning. Last but not least I stayed there with my dog. Like most hotels allowing dogs they ask for them not to go on the furniture except that unlike many they provided us with a dog bed and bowls. Both my dog and I had a wonderful time there. Highly recommended!

Facilities are good and clean! Even with our dog the room was each day made proper and decent. Good shower, nice soap and good bed!

It was a good size (not too big!, the food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The outside area had plenty of seating and the view of the mountains was stunning! You could easily walk to the lake over fields , so no annoyance with parking. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our room had a bath and a shower, which is unusual nowadays and was spacious and had lovely little touches of a metal water bottle and great coffee machine.

A bit close to other properties, meant our window overlooked next door's balcony. There were blinds, but you felt a bit hemmed in as it was very close. The windows were also filthy, so the other view of the mountains was difficult to see! Whilst the food was delicious and good for a special occasion, probably not completely to the taste for younger kids.

The hotel, the room and the restaurant were all nice and cozy. Interior of the place is stylish and welcoming. The Staff was really great. They always had a good word to everyone who stayed there including dogs. The place has an excellent location, it is very close to the lake. From the balcony, the view to the mountains and lake was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were amazing and very tasteful. We stayed at the hotel with our dog, and they welcomed him as their own. Bed, bowls, and treats were waiting for him in the room. I recommend this place!! Thank you for these lovely days! We’ve already booked our next stay here!

Fantastic small hotel, ideally located for exploring the Bohinj area, with brilliant staff and a great restaurant. The breakfasts offered a wide range and were delicious. The evening menu was well priced for very high quality with a good range of fine Slovenian wines. We stayed in Room 2B which was large, spacious and very comfortable. it also had its own sauna which was great after a long day walking round the lake. It is difficult to find fault with this hotel.

This place was a winner from the moment we walked in the door. The staff is friendly and professional, room is modern and cozy. GREAT shower with L'Occitane toiletries. The views are amazing -- it was grey and rainy when we arrived so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor spaces, which are really inviting. EAT HERE if you have the chance. The chef is brilliant and the four-course tasting menu is a value! They paired Slovenian wines for us and they were all delicious.

Location is perfect. Bohinj lake is near, only 5-10 minutes walk (depending on the pace) and you are at the bridge (in the center of Ribčev Laz). Beginning of hiking trails “Korita Mostnice”, “Slap Mostnice”, “Peč viewpoint”, “Rudnica” is also very near, so you can start your hiking tour right from the hotel, no need to move your car, look for parking, etc. The hotel itself is also beautiful, very cosy, clean and the staff is super friendly. We were in the duplex apartment, with the bed upstairs and lake view. Garden of the hotel is great, with the view on mountain Triglav, where you can hang out with, have a drink or just enjoy the view. Excellent ‘A la carte’ breakfast is included in the price and there is also a possibility to reserve the seat for dinner in the restaurant. Type of the dinner is also ‘A la carte’ and we enjoyed the 3-course menu and excellent service.

The hotel is located close to the lake and all major activities, making it easy to access all attractions. The rooms are comfortable and elegantly decorated with great attention to detail. We were particularly impressed with the high-quality L'Occitane toiletries available in the bathroom. Upon arrival, we received a lovely welcome gift, including a voucher for a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. I must especially commend how well they cater to pets. Our dog was provided with his own bed and bowls, treats awaited him in the room, and the staff was very friendly to him, even in the restaurant where he was also welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with first-class service and an excellent location. We will definitely be returning!

Our room was located next to the kitchen, which made it quite noisy. The room could benefit from better soundproofing to improve the overall experience.

The fact that the place which we were staying was on the ground floor, and the door/windows were towards the restaurant of the facility or the garden, and anyone who was passing could see inside our room. either you should have sacrificed light and view or your privacy, and the terrace for our room was not private, everyone had access to it, which I think such an information should be written while booking.
